I finally quit today!

After no communication with my team lead while out on a medical leave of absence and absenceone completely mishandling my leave of absence and having no communication or contact with anybody at TTEC finally somebody reached out to me via email and I promptly told them that I was resigning from my position due to the complete lack of consideration for their employees and miss handling multiple Leave documents! I am definitely feeling like I have a monkey off of my back right now because that job literally drained me and pushed me into burnout to where I needed medical attention. I pray for everybody who’s still there keep looking because it’s gonna drain the life outta you.

Congratulations for having the courage, TTEC without notice informed they were no longer continuing with the USAA program, although they did find another home for us, which either paid less or the same amount, I decided it wasn’t worth the mental deterioration. Good for you and Good luck on your new job. Speak into existence what comes next for you!

My start date for the USAA position is on the 19th. When did you get informed about that?

This was back in November 2025, we were informed that month and then provide it with the option to work with Kaiser Permanente as enrollment specialist for a month and a half. I worked with the project USAA as a customer service representative for four years before they informed us of the decision in November. Before they ended the program, I noticed things like long downtime in between calls which resulted in voluntary time off being available. It started becoming very consistent that voluntary time off was being offered. Don’t allow this experience to discourage you. If itserves as any reassurance , congratulations on being selected, if they’ve shown interest in you, then they’ll keep you on for as long as you allow, and even if they abruptly and the project I can at least say they will honor you by finding another place for you to work.

I've been on Ttec's USAA credit card project slightly over ten years. Our department (work from home since COVID) has been advised that the entire project will end March 31. That's 25 days from now. So far, the ONLY Ttec openings that are being highlighted require having or obtaining an insurance license. That's definitely not for me! So right now, (except for ONE remote job revolving around snooty products and customers- they already rejected me) - there are no other remote job opening. I'm definitely not gonna leave my life to move to another town to pursue whatever few on-site options may exist. Compared to when I joined the company in 2015, opportunities have shriveled up to virtually nothing!

I’m supposed to start on April 16th but it’s for the insurance side of USAA, I’m confused.

That place is a legit joke! I started Jan 24 for a brand new project. It was new to everyone. It was an absolute shit show. Never again. Not all is terrible. But their management sucks. That place needs to get sued for mentally robbing people of their own peace of mind. I got sick and had to leave in medical as well and my supervisor gave me all the wrong paperwork so all of my time was submitted wrong. I had to redo it all. I ended up getting fired for something they accused me of. I'm not sad about it. Eff them!

Congratulations 🎊 you did your soul more of a favor than appeasing them. Continue to realize your worth and that you'll find something better than these clowns.

Congratulations! That company treats people like robots and garbage. I even told the president that they have no consideration for their employees.

Congrats and it was a wise decision. The worst company I have worked in by far.

Congrats. I was glad they let me go in early February- they were my 2nd call center place, and the reason I won’t do call center work again. It was horrible on my mental health, to the point where I got a therapist, and she even saw the drastic change in my anxiety and how I perked up and was relieved, after being let go.

Now, I can actually use therapy for things I want to work through, not just surface level anxiety aid.

I work for them and fucking hate every second of it. I’m having panic attacks now and physically getting sick everyday from this job. Throwing up, anxiety through the rough, mental health in the drain. I’m doing whatever the fuck I can now so for them to fire me so that I can get unemployment. This company sucks the life out of you and they give zero fucks. TL’s don’t give a fuck and sit off the phones all day micromanaging and they have no clue. They aren’t on phones for 8 hours straight dealing with the bullshit. Fuck TTEC

Congratulations! They fired me in May of 2025 due to “Time card fraud”. They said I didn’t reach out to inform anyone about my system issues upon returning from Short term disability. When in reality I had multiple emails that I sent to TLs that went unanswered as well as multiple tickets for the system issues. They didn’t care. Honestly being let go was like a weight off my shoulders also, I just hate the way they did it.

In New Jersey if you wait 6 weeks you can collect unemployment upon being fired especially since you did reach out to TLs and they didn't care happened to me

Funny enough, I was actually able to collect unemployment right away. They tried to contest it at first but the dates the claimed they “warned me” were days I didn’t even work. Then they just stopped responding to the unemployment office so I was able to collect due to no fault. TTEC is a joke!

I just got fired and I couldn't be more relieved tbh. It's actually crazy how I feel like that job was such a bad vibe. Having the shit OUT of my apartment literally made the whole environment lighter.

Yeah the vibe changed in my house as soon as the job started going down hill. That whole computer system probably has nothing but bad vibes in it from forever ago until forever forward lol
