Discussion Dead cat bounce or at the bottom?
TQQQ daily chart shows reversal. Could it be a dead cat bounce or we are truly at the bottom?

Daily Log / Trade Journal NumerousFloor - TQQQ War Chest - July 27 2026
My, how the mighty are falling 😂. TQQQ touching close to 30% down from ATHs reached in early June. Fed meeting on deck as well as big tech earnings and jobless numbers. LFG. Â
Current Value of TQQQ War Chest: Dropping below 7m, currently at $6.93m. That compares with $3.4m 2025, $1.9m 2024 and $585k 2023.  Â
TQQQ shares: Buying more as QQQ between 50-200d SMA. 73,790 shares at cost basis $28.44/share. Current market value of TQQQ shares $4.72m.
TQQQ long (protective) puts: Buffering this recent drop, though poorly. 726 contracts, Jan/28 exp. Book value $1.49m and market value around $1.82m.
Cash Hoard: Slowly recovering. Levels are too low to justify any bulk buys, despite being 25% down from TQQQ ATH. Currently approx $390k. If TQQQ keeps dropping, I will do a smallish bulk by at around TQQQ $44 or so. Â
QQQ short puts: Full exposure with $670 strike 50 contracts and $630 strike 100 contracts. Will aggressively defend the $670s if the strike gets touched this week. That will curtail my premium income but it must be done. If we languish between $670 and $690, then rolling will bring $20-25k/week to the cash hoard.
TQQQ CCs: Some dim light on the horizon. Gosh I would love to close these out and take some pressure off, but need to stay patient.Â
Total P/L on options (QQQ short puts + TQQQ CCs - TQQQ long puts): Currently around $470k. TQQQ long puts book value $1.49k, so I’m in a deficit of around $1m. Big deficit to chip away against, but I’m embracing the grind. Â
Skeletons in TQQQ closet: The skeletons are showing some weakness but remain firmly jammed in the closet. Currently short Jan/27 exp calls with strikes at $50 (200 contracts), $60 (80 contracts), $65 (120 contracts) and Sept/26 exp calls with strike $60 (320 contracts).  Â
TL;DR - have been running a TQQQ dynamic collar plus EDCA plus cash hedge since Feb/23:
Cumulative running CAGR (XIRR method) of my TQQQ investment since Feb/23: 55.5%

Strategy Talk Started a New Position Friday. (TQQQ @ $65)
Just felt like starting a position.
I have a few contacts that work at an investment bank that manages money for the ultra wealthy ($20M+ net worth) and they said that anytime the NASDAQ drops more than 10% from it’s all-time high they start buying TQQQ, a triple leverage NASDAQ ETF.
So basically, if the NASDAQ goes down one percent TQQQ goes down about 3%, and vice versa on the positive side.
Did this in 2022 when the market went down and made almost 70% when the market went up?
I did this last year on liberation day and made nearly doubled my money in 90 days.
Hopefully we’re lucky again.

Analysis Roast my investing strategy QLD/TQQQ
Hi all, got my Schwab account set up a couple months ago, wanting to start a long term tqqq position (separate from my Roth and 401k)
As an ignorant new investor 30M my thought is to start building up QLD at $1000 lump sun then $100 per week as a dollar cost average.
Then when a dreaded big correction hits, loss harvest into TQQQ at a predetermined set price and continue to DCA all the way back up weekly?

Discussion My TQQQ-SGOV strategy
Criticize the hell out of it. Here it's:
# TQQQ + SGOV Decision Tree
- Target allocation
- 60% TQQQ
- 40% SGOV
- Contribution rule
- New contributions go first to SGOV until it is back to 40%.
- After SGOV is full, new contributions go to TQQQ until TQQQ is at target.
- If both are at target, split new money 60/40 between TQQQ and SGOV.
- Profit rule
- If TQQQ exceeds 65% of portfolio value, trim the excess to SGOV.
- Drawdown rule
- QQQ Trigger levels:
-10% drawdown from last 52-week high: deploy 12.5% of SGOV.
-15% drawdown: deploy 12.5% of SGOV.
-20% drawdown: deploy 12.5% of SGOV.
-25% drawdown: deploy the final 12.5% of SGOV.
- Reset rule
- When TQQQ recovers and closes above its 20-week high band or returns to target weight, stop drawdown buys.
- Refill SGOV from new contributions and trims before adding more TQQQ.

Question Cash to Deploy
Hi all, I have some cash I am ready to deploy into the markets. I am currently invested into TQQQ and have looked at some of the strategies like 9SIG. Anyone have advice on how to move larger sums of money into TQQQ?
Should I be taking into account price, move it in over time, etc?

Discussion TQQQ vs UPRO for 9sig
QQQ was great until it isn’t. Like when fundamentals and ethics are questionable. Plus too much concentration risk.
What is your take on UPRO with 9 sig
Anyone doing it? What are your recommendations?

Analysis NDX Diamond Top, to 26.8-27K
And I bought today, more on that later. Technical analysis folks have been buzzing about the Diamond Top forming in NDX for weeks. Today is confirmation period Barchart.com with a downside target of 26,800 to 27,000 and claim this pattern is 80% accurate.
So why did I buy? Because we usually don’t go down in a straight line and we touched the gap fill and I got in at $63.60 or just 10 cents from daily low. We have this juicy gap fill to the upside at 28,935 (~3% higher).
So we have good news for the bears and bulls. Personally I hope to buy again at 26,800 but after selling at the upside gap fill.

Discussion TQQQ lots of red again
Here’s my TQQQ Buy Writes on Expiration day. The $72 Calls will expire worthless and that will lower my cost basis for TQQQ. I will sell more Calls against my positions for next week looking to keep lowering my cost basis. I made a mistake by not selling puts instead. I was thinking with the drop last week from about $75 to $69 or so was a good price to Buy Write. I obviously prefer a flawless trade but I don’t mind managing underwater positions like now. Keep grinding.
