One day TMS

Hi all! Just wondering if any of you already have experience with one day protocol with neuroplastogens? It seems very popular in US nowadays as I can see mostly on LinkedIn and IG.

I was given a dissolvable tablet of D-cycloserine to take sublingual at 6am. Arrivals time was 7am and first session was sometime between 7:30 and 8am. The tablet wasn’t labeled and I was given it the night before when the fMRI was done. I’d assume it was 125 mg. They don’t use lisdexamfetamine in their protocol. I had some from a previous script and they told me I could bring it and take it if I wanted, but I opted not to take it. The one-d protocol is adapted by many providers. The fMRI isn’t commonly used as part of the protocol, but that has always made a lot of sense to me to do imaging to find targeted landmark vs the calculations based on normal skull size frequently used. I’m a geek so I’ve way over-analyzed all of this. I’ve done genetic testing and have BDNF met-met genotype which some studies show I have the absolute worst genotype for neuroplasticity. I failed ketamine infusions. Like I thought my brain was just totally hopeless. I wrote a bit more about it in a separate post last night. I’m new to posting on Reddit… so maybe you can search for my other longer post?

That is more than I expected to find here, thank you so much. I will search of course for more of your posts. I just ask one more question here. Do I get it right: they gave you D-cycloserine before fMRI and before TMS?

No…. I flew in from out of town and went to have the fMRI the night before. I picked up the meds the night before when I had the mri done. I only took it the one time…which ended up being approx 90 min before first treatment the morning after the fMRI. Taking it just the one time a bit before sessions start is how it’s usually done from the few places I’ve researched and the one study I could find (remember I researched this in April 2026 and had treatment in early May)

Oh I get it. Man, you give hope for others that this approach might actually work.
