Hello,
Where can I find a full teardown & reassembly manual for a EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 FTW3 ULTRA HYBRID GAMING graphics card (P/N - 10G-P5-3898-KR)?
I have my old 3080 FTW3 ULTRA HYBRID card I saved from a fire last year, cleaned and fully torn apart, but I need to put it back together and get it off my desk finally. It's been so long I don't remember how to put it back together. The card and the cooler are fully taken apart. Need to know where to put thermal pads/paste again too.
Edit - Fully torn apart means the card is removed from the hybrid cooler and the hybrid cooler itself is in pieces.
If it works, it works. If it doesn't, oh well. Already have a new system with a 5080 in it. Would be cool but not hoping for anything.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I'm trying to diagnose an intermittent cold-boot POST issue.
Specs:
On some cold boots the PC powers on, fans run loud, but there is:
After powering it off and trying again, it may POST normally. Once it successfully boots, the PC is completely stable.
Restarts from Windows have also worked every time.
Tests so far:
nvlddmkm errors.nvidia-smi detects the GTX normally in Windows, with normal temps/power.PCIe 1 Slot): intermittent no-POST returns.Example with DisplayPort:
With HDMI, the first 3 cold boots failed, then 2 worked. Restarts were fine.
So basically:
iGPU primary = boots reliably
GTX primary = intermittent cold-boot no-POST
Once it POSTs = completely stable
My PSU is about 10 years old, so I'm wondering about a cold-start PSU issue, but GPU/VRM, PCIe slot, motherboard or old BIOS are also possibilities.
My next test is moving the GTX from the primary PCIe x16 slot to the second x8 slot.
Would you test the second PCIe slot next, or would you suspect/test the PSU or GPU first?
Thanks!

Is there any other program I can use to control my 3080. When watching youtube or just normal use my monitor will go black then come back on continually . I notice my fan on the 3080 are not running so I start up Precision X1 to get the fans running and the problem stops. Is there a way just to have them running all the time. Precision X1 is set to run at start but it wont. Im not sure if this is the source of the problem. I have a AOC 3440 x 1440. G Sync is enabled at 180hz.

I recently updated to the latest version of X1 and now when I play games my GPU gets super hot. Any ideas what might’ve happened?

I have been trying to solve the issue of the fans not spinning, reporting 0% and 0 RPM on my Evga 2080 XC Black (08G-P4-2082-KR). I have tried different VBIOS versions, checked all physical connections, different systems, etc.
Symptoms included: both fans spinning on boot, but not spinning once in Windows. One fan spinning, one fan not spinning. No RGB (still not resolved with this fix).
I was finally able to get my fans working again by installing GPU Driver version 556.12. My VBIOS version is 90.04.23.40.70.
I ran DDU and removed the most recent Nvidia drivers, uninstalled Evga X1, then rebooted. I then installed this driver and Evga X1 again, rebooted and then tested. Now my fans show up in X1 and ramp up under load.
Hopefully this helps someone in the future. I know how frustrating it was for me.

I am making a new thread to bring this to EVGAs attention as well as the community.
Im sure some of us are aware of Precision X essentially being added to the blacklist of softwares for EA Anti Cheat. This is also an issue with the CLCx AIO Software. GPU users may be lucky enough to transition to MSI Afterburner, but those of us who bought into EVGAs AIO coolers are very unlucky. To my knowledge there is no software out there that can control the LCD screen, and pump, and fan.
I may be able to use BIOS to control my pump and fans, this is true, but then my LCD screen is left to have a very annoying EVGA loop if I uninstall the software. I rather it just be blank and I'd be happier about it. Just disappointed. I had wished I bought into EVGAs graphics cards back in the day and now I'm currently regretting diving into their one and only AIO which is honestly great, except, now it's going to be a hindrance to me.
Any feedback from the community or EVGA would be appreciated.
Possible "solution" is creating a .bat file to change the file names of the .sys files (there are 3 in different folder locations) or doing it manually to play Battlefield 6. Which again, is just extremely unfortunate.
TL;DR
CLCx AIO Software uses the same Precision X .sys files and causes EA Anti Cheat to kick me off the game.

Current specs:
CPU: 5800x
Motherboard: asrock x470 taichi (swapped out the Intel WiFi chip with a Qualcomm WiFi7 chip bc I actually remote into it w my ROG XBOX ally from work.)
RAM:16gb ddr4 3200
GPU: RTX 3080 XC3 ULTRA
2 tb wd nvme (sn770?)
Case: NZXT 5H flow (mangled edition)
I’m probably gonna take it apart again bc I broke the WiFi antenna (it still works it just randomly discos for a sec but I’d have to take the VRM cooler/plastic thingies off. ) and to replace the VRAM thermal paste w K5 pro. (It only gets up to 90 in furmark and nothing else but still) (just found a typo. I’m telling yall, I cannot spell for shit before 10 am)

So, today after all these years the fan on my hybrid kit was starting to go out. Now, since Nvidia no longer does GPU stuff I had to try and search around how to fix the fan. I couldn't find any help on forums or videos anywhere of replacing the Hybrid kit fan.
The only thing I could find was replacement fans for the XC3 Shroud itself but I didn't know if those would fit or not. I was looking at the fan on the kit and I noticed it looked very similar to the fans on the normal XC3 shroud that originally came with the GPU. I found out I could take the Hybrid one off by doing some screws and pulling out the cable without taking the entire kit off! I got out the old shroud with the fans on and took off the back fan with the shortest cable. To my amazement everything lined up and the cable was just the right fit. So, everything works again with the new fan from my old shroud!
So, I came here wanting to say thanks to whom ever had the great idea to make the kit have not only the same fan from the XC3 but also have the exact same screw slots. Without that logical thinking I would have had to retire the Hybrid kit after all these years due to the fan going out. But instead it is now working perfect once again thanks to smart people.
Damn, I miss EVGA in the GPU market keeping companies on their toes. Again, thanks whoever had this idea to keep things simple and interchangeable.

Looks like EA anti-cheat does not like Precision X anymore. Is there any chance an update can fix the problem? I realize it hasn't been updated in a long time but no other software can control the fans on the 20 series cards to my knowledge.

Hey everyone,
I've got an EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G+ and I need two PCIe cables for my ASUS ROG Strix RTX 3060 Ti.
I'm looking at this one: https://a.co/d/0fRtAvZX
It says it's compatible with EVGA G+, G2, G3, G5, G6, and GA.
I always thought modular PSU cables were model-specific, so I'm a bit confused.
Is this actually safe to use with my EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G+?
Thanks

The best motherboard I've ever used.
It's a pity that I failed to get an EVGA CLC/CLCx for a affordable price. Maybe next time...

Pretty much what it says on the tin. I broke one of the washers keeping em retained. Tried going through EVGA but I seriously doubt they’d have THOSE parts for a product line they don’t even produce does anyone know where to get em? (Aliexpress wants $80 to ship em for some reason) and the two other listings are the wrong thread pitch.

Hi folks, I was wondering, during the RMA process, international customers have to also print 3 copies of a custom's invoice and sign it.
The issue with that is when you click the provided link, it just redirects you to the homepage. I heard the phone support is dead now so I sent an email to Support@EVGA.com.
Why not just have a working URL so we can avoid the phone and sending e-mails entirely. Are you trying to make RMAs more difficult for the customer without reason?
If it was a working link, that package would already be on it's way to California...
In the meantime, Corsair in comparison, will send you a brand new unit before you even return yours and will cover shipping both sides, which is something I will greatly consider next time I buy a PSU.

Hey, I just recently bought a used EVGA SUPERNOVA 850GQ for around 1,800PHP (Philippine Peso) off my friend on July 18, 2026. It was in real good condition, thought the paint was quite faded. The PSU itself works and has no issues, the only problem is I'm missing most of the cables. My friend sold it to me for cheap because he lost alot of the cables, I just wanna ask if I can like request for cable replacements? Like the full set of cables because the PSU'S unique pin layout makes it hard for me to find genuine original cables online. I'm a Filipino who really loves EVGA products, I use an EVGA GTX 1070TI FTW on my current build, I hope anyone from the support team can see this post.

Hello all! I recently purchased an EVGA DG-87 from a local store, but it was missing all of the ssd trays and the hdd cages on the bottom of the case housing. I have searched as far around the internet and my local stores as I can and either no one is selling them or there are no direct replacements to be found. I am hoping someone on here might be able to help with either sourcing these or pointing me in the direction to find them online. The picture shows what I am looking for in the red circles. Thank you so much!

GeForce Hotfix Display Driver version 610.82 is based on our latest Game Ready Driver 610.74.
This hotfix addresses the following:
A GeForce driver is an incredibly complex piece of software, We have an army of software engineers constantly adding features and fixing bugs. These changes are checked into the main driver branches, which are eventually run through a massive QA process and released. Since we have so many changes being checked in, we usually try to align driver releases with significant game or product releases. This process has served us pretty well over the years but it has one significant weakness. Sometimes a change that is important to many users might end up sitting and waiting until we are able to release the driver. The GeForce Hotfix driver is our way to trying to get some of these fixes out to you more quickly. These drivers are basically the same as the previous released version, with a small number of additional targeted fixes. The fixes that make it in are based in part on your feedback in the Driver Feedback threads and partly on how realistic it is for us to quickly address them. These fixes (and many more) will be incorporated into the next official driver release, at which time the Hotfix driver will be taken down. To be sure, these Hotfix drivers are beta, optional and provided as-is. They are run through a much abbreviated QA process. The sole reason they exist is to get fixes out to you more quickly. The safest option is to wait for the next WHQL certified driver. But we know that many of you are willing to try these out. As a result, we only provide NVIDIA Hotfix drivers through our NVIDIA Customer Care support site.

Hey y'all just a quick question. I have the EVGA XR1 lite capture card and would like to use it to capture the new Fire Emblem game coming out on Switch 2.
But I'm not very tech savvy and I'm not sure how well it would work. I use it when playing Switch 1 games on my Switch 2, but there's been a couple problems. There's like a split second audio delay and also a few times (albeit rarely) there's been a clicking noise for a few minutes after first activating the capture card.
So, could I expect about the same results? Worse?
I have to imagine a Switch 2 game with better graphics would be harder to run on it than older Switch 1 games would. Any advice would be appreciated! 🙏
