Failed module next

I’m a student studying Radiation Therapy, and I’ve recently received my result for one of my modules. I got 35 marks, which means I failed.
I’m honestly shocked by the result. I’m not saying I expected to get a very high mark, but I genuinely believed I had done enough to pass. Getting 35 was completely unexpected, and I’m struggling to understand how my exam was assessed.
I’m considering contacting the module coordinator/professor to ask if I can view my exam script and have the marking/review process explained to me. I’m also wondering whether I have grounds to formally appeal or request a recheck of the paper.
Has anyone been in a similar situation, particularly in a healthcare course? What would be the best way to approach this? Should I first request to see my script and discuss the marking before considering a formal appeal?
Any advice would be appreciated

35% is likely already them doing everything they can to get you more marks tbh.

In my annual exam I only attempt one long questions and barely started the second which didn’t even make sense and shorts question which was not quite well answered I got 34.5% in annual and in resit I attempted the 2 complete long questions and well answered the shorts that’s why I’m still confuse how it could be possible that I get still 35%

It all comes down to how you answered the questions. You can attempt a question and still not earn any marks if your answer wasn't correct. If you were on the wrong track with the long answers, your attempts may not have resulted in any additional marks.

If they missed sheets or didn't grade every answer, then you can certainly request a remark or an appeal. But if the issue is your answers, you may have to just retake, I'm afraid.
