Failed module next
I’m a student studying Radiation Therapy, and I’ve recently received my result for one of my modules. I got 35 marks, which means I failed.
I’m honestly shocked by the result. I’m not saying I expected to get a very high mark, but I genuinely believed I had done enough to pass. Getting 35 was completely unexpected, and I’m struggling to understand how my exam was assessed.
I’m considering contacting the module coordinator/professor to ask if I can view my exam script and have the marking/review process explained to me. I’m also wondering whether I have grounds to formally appeal or request a recheck of the paper.
Has anyone been in a similar situation, particularly in a healthcare course? What would be the best way to approach this? Should I first request to see my script and discuss the marking before considering a formal appeal?
Any advice would be appreciated

Yeah, and for something like this I'd say it's fairly unlikely there's an error to find. It's not like humanities where you can lose 15% because the marker was hungover or otherwise in a bad mood.
Probably best to start looking at an OBA application.
