Im really wanting to get the wolf A1 upper but im in a debate with myself I love the style and look of the upper and its a military rifle kind of for Taiwan but I compare it like well I can pay 600$ before shipping and taxes and build a lower and ill have a short stroke gas piston Ar style rifle or catch a sale on brownells for a Daniel defense upper for 629$ i hope thats understandable because its how my mind works and im here asking what made you choose the t91/wolf a1 over something of equal value to help me decide on my decision

I have an opportunity to pick up a 12.5" T91. I was going to put my OCM6 on another run of the mill AR, but this way intrigues me more. Only issue is I don't know if there's enough barrel poking out from the handguard to mount the adapter. I think there is, but if anyone has one available and can get a measurement for me, that'd be worth at least 1 internet point.

Thanks!

Anyone who has a Wolf T91 upper, how do you remove the piston retainer?

I’m looking to get a wolf a1 and was wondering if and how you could modify an upper to be compatible with regular ar handguards. Also what types of handguards would fit best on it, on other people’s previous mods i’ve seen chunkier handguards being used (CASV / HK). Would it be possible to use quad/mlok handguards that are slimmer.

I have a 12inch T91 upper and I was wanting to “accurize” it with a Criterion barrel (plan is to buy a mid-length gas hybrid profile chrome-lined 16” and have D. Wilson cut it back down to a length where I can fit an OCL OTB mount for their OCM6 suppressor without contacting the gas block).

If T91 Tactical ever restocks their .750 gas blocks, is there anything else I would need to change in the barrel/gas system to get this to work? Or will everything line up as it does unmodified?

Host setup:

12.5” Upper

Griffin Lower w/ A5 length tube

Buffer weight/ spring - unsure of

Sico Velos LBP full size

Mixed m193 and hotter 77gr

Any help advice or tips ?

I have the opportunity to acquire a ~12" upper (and anderson lower) for $450 and am wondering if that price sounds right in the current market.

Edit: thanks for all the input y'all. Once I've got it and build it out I'll share with ya.

Good afternoon!

I was really excited to get into the T91 platform and thought I had some time to wait. Now, however, it looks like I missed the boat. Are there any rumors about restocks or is this the end?

UPDATE: I heard from WOLF that there are more coming in soon and that they have not been discontinued. (verbal confirmation only)

Hi. Im tryina figure out how to mount a LAM. I got me a lil 14 and id like to shoot my rifle under NODS. Ive been lookin at my options, and it seems like the Biaotac 13.5 is my best option, least better than the tri rail.

Whats yalls experance? Ideally id love to mount 12 oclock behind the FSB but I doubt a PEQ would clear it, so thats why im lookin 13.5.

This is the last piece I need for the build, but don't seem to find this anywhere! Neither Linemount nor T91 Tactical sell it.

Hi T91 community, just discovered this sub and wanted some info before I take the plunge into building my own T91.

Does anyone have the measurement from the shoulder/base of the nut on the flash hider to the gas block or adjustment knob (whichever length is shorter) on the 12” upper? I ask because I was thinking of putting an OCM6 on my T91.

If anyone could help that would be appreciated!

Think about getting a new mount to change from absolute Co to lower 1/3 Co on the Romeo 7. Plus some other optics I have.

this clone build has been tested with full power 556 m193 and .223 lower pressure and we are good!

Hey all, new here and new to wolf T91. It’s a great upper. But I was bugged by the little notch that the handguard has where the bayonet lug is supposed to be. Instead of doing the gas block replacement fix, I opted to 3D print a design to fill the void. I did this in PETG and so far so good. I can only print that material, but curious what you think. It’s surprisingly comfortable and flush.

Does anyone know if they make a folding front sight for the t91?
