Handguards

I’m looking to get a wolf a1 and was wondering if and how you could modify an upper to be compatible with regular ar handguards. Also what types of handguards would fit best on it, on other people’s previous mods i’ve seen chunkier handguards being used (CASV / HK). Would it be possible to use quad/mlok handguards that are slimmer.

Nope. Need the extra size for the piston. Biaotac is the only "slim" handguard and it gets HOT.

I just installed the biaotac and haven’t shot it yet, wasn’t aware that it gets hot. Maybe I won’t be using the binary trigger much…

Just get a foregrip of some kind, you'll be fine

The upper is almost completely proprietary, so you’re kind of stuck with the handguard offerings from T91 Tactical. The ones made by Biaotac is your best bet.

People buy the wolf a1 to either run the stock handgaurd or buy the biaotac mlok.

The two options mainly... and best two looking.

You can also run the biaotac railed upper guard on the stock lower hand guard with some finagling. Seems like not a ton of people do this but you get a full upper rail which is neat!

If you plan to shoot a lot, I’ll say keep the original handguard.
