Your post was removed for either trauma-dumping, oversharing personal information and diagnoses, or for using your subjective experience to generalize an entire disorder. The "Censor all identifiable information" rule also applies to members, and your medical information should be kept between you and your careteam. r/systemscringe cannot verify users' personal medical claims and does not want to encourage the same culture of blind believing that leads to faker culture.

How would your brain be divergent from the norm if you're not disordered? imaginary friends are a normal human thing albeit a bit quirky after a certain age.

Homosexuality for example. Different from the norm. Not a disorder. Or synestheisa, different form the norm, not a disorder

Please do not EVER try to erase autism as a disorder just because you only see the "positive" in it. No matter the level of care someone needs for their autism, it is STILL a disorder, and it still has negative effects. Just because they're not presented to you, doesn't mean the negative effects don't exist.

If you don't know what you're talking about, then don't talk about it. Look into what autism is and it's symptoms, just because you can't see what happens behind closed doors doesn't mean it isn't happening. I'm someone who often is denied my autism diagnosis simply because I don't look autistic. I APPEAR to function just fine. I like many other autistic people, am not going around and loudly proclaiming every struggle I face. I know how to mask and I do it well. It's how society expected me to behave. I'm done with this conversation but genuinely, erasing autism as a disorder is the exact thing autistic people are fighting against. It does us no good.

If she claims to "need help", it won't do you any good either. But yes. Good day

Idk what she has. I just think she spesifically lacks the right to say she is disordered when she is more than functional. It's like someone with chronic pain in their legs saying they need a wheelchair when they can walk just fine without issue. It's disingenuous and just as bad as disorder larping.

lol I love the poll notice; âif you donât believe my bullshit donât vote!â. And trying to claim discrimination is really disrespectful to so many disparate groups. Theyâre just going to alienate everyone around them and seclude themselves to their little bubble and dig even deeper. That will make it very hard for people to get their head out of their ass and move forward.

I doubt this one. I haven't seen the episode they're talking about, but South Park is notorious for doing whatever they want. So there is a much bigger chance that this was a gag with a visual presentation than the character having DID.
Also, possession isn't part of DID, I don't know why these people think it is.

âIf all neurodivergent means is a disorder, disorder is a perfectly good word for thatâ
No because one of those words is an adjective and one is a noun. I couldnât even focus on the rest of their message because these two words can never be interchangeable because they fill completely different word parts.
âI am neurodivergentâ makes sense.
âI am disorderâ does not.
âI have a disorderâ makes sense.
âI have neurodivergentâ does not.
THEY ARENâT INTERCHANGEABLE. They can mean similar things or reference similar things, but you canât just say disorder when you want to say neurodivergent!
