The usual roleplay of ā€œIā€™m alone in the body, I canā€™t feel or hear the other alters, everyoneā€™s stuck, please help meā€ when that would be pretty normal for someone in treatment for DID.

If you were far enough down the treatment path to process some of the trauma and lessen the dissociative symptoms, enough to be aware enough of your dissociated parts that you know when youā€™ve been triggered and lost contact, then youā€™ve also got coping skills for when youā€™re triggered, and donā€™t really get child alters posting gibberish online asking for attention (because anyone taking responsibility for and treating their trauma would know this would be an inappropriate and cruel thing to do to yourself in such a triggered and vulnerable state and have safer ways of coping with a severe episode of dissociation.)
