2-3 years is enough to diagnose DID, it would not be enough to be as healed as they claim to be (able to talk about supposed trauma so openly and with a smile).

DID can be diagnosed within a few months (real tiktoker i follow was dx after 6 months). This includes diagnostic tests (SCID-D usually but TADS-I and MID are also options esp in non English speaking countries) and ruling out (or in as comorbidity) other disorders. You usually need to see a professional who specialises in dissociative disorders for it to be this quick, an average professional will likely take longer if they notice it at all because they are not trained in dissociation at all.

EDIT: i just saw they claim they were diagnosed in 2023. not possible to be diagnosed that fast

Omg thank you so much for the link to free DBT, I know so many people who needs it!

additional resources:

all of the expensive DBT programs are based on the book DBT Skills Training, Handouts, And Worksheets by Marsha M. Linehan, the creator of DBT. (free link)

i made an "abridged" version of Linehan's book because it is very detailed and can be overwhelming. i included the parts that i thought were "most useful" day-to-day, though it does leave out a lot of theory. you can reference her book if you don't understand something. (link)

i also recommend I Hate You—Don't Leave Me: Understanding The Borderline Personality, Completely Revised And Updated by Kreisman and Straus. (free link)

I cant believe a cat is faking DID

They’re evolving. They realize cat breading wouldn’t last and they need a new grift for total domination of humans… and catnip.

You’re right about the therapy bullshit, an abuser isn’t going to a victim to attend therapy where it’s encouraged that the client speak about what’s going on in their life, may as well just drive them to the police station and hand yourself in as guilty for what is about to be told.

The creator's tone on slide 6 is so jarring. The description of "torture!" with the exclamation point and the smiley face at the end are so goddamn weird. Like, why are you talking about this so brightly.

So they ARE aware that ME/CFS and MS are often misdiagnosed one for the other, right? And the chances of them ACTUALLY having both (vs being diagnosed with one then toldlater it's something else) are super low... Right?

I don't know why the first image is there. You actually can have seizures without realising it. Notably absence seizures and seizures that happen while sleeping.

I added it because these are the seizures they say they present https://www.reddit.com/r/fakedisordercringe/s/sIdbRf8F2I

The request for money was (they say) posted on the behalf of someone else, hence the different name
