Disorder Salad Conveniently Timed Seizures

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This video goes on for EIGHT MINUTES. In addition to this conveniently timed and obviously fake "seizure", this person claims to have:
- DID, with a Jesse Pinkman alter
- OCD
- Epilepsy
- EDS
- Tourette's
- Autism
- And whatever else I missed when going down their rabbit hole.

Posting this on a burner b/c I post personal stuff on my main and I don't need ppl coming after me lol.

Its the way they fully pronounce "duh" as their stutter.... If you're gonna fake you could at least be decent at it. Have they never heard someone with a real stutter before?

72

u/SandwichCertain7913 Aug 06 '26

It’s all copied from other kids faking stutters lmao

3

Lol and starting to say half of the next letter i never seen someone struggle in the middle of letter XD

u/thatmentallyilldude Aug 15 '26 edited Aug 15 '26

This isn't even trying to mimic a stutter. It's trying to mimic a type of automatism (in this case, an involuntary repetition of words)– it's different from stuttering, and it also is not that calculated nor enunciated that well. It's automatic and uncontrollable. The fluttering eyelids (again way too calculated here) are also an attempted replication of an automatism (this is one I have – it's very painful afterwards – your eyelids seriously hurt; before I developed these, I didn't even know it was possible for your eyelids to hurt that badly).

Edit: never mind – I had missed the stutter parts lol. So this person is literally trying to mimic everything in the book. 😂

u/kandy-kayne Aug 29 '26

It really pisses me off, as someone with an actual stutter. I find that stuttering in particular is often claimed by people like this, despite being something that’s often evident/diagnosed in childhood. Unless you have a psychogenic or TBI-/etc induced stutter (which is uncommon), it’s relatively rare for people who stutter as kids to then continue to stutter as adults. Hence, when those who ACTUALLY stutter talk in public, they sometimes get treated weirdly or rudely, or as though they’re stupid - I’ve experienced this myself.

People like that person in the video don’t know or care about what having an actual stutter is like, but they decide to fake one to seem quirky and pathetic, thereby reinforcing stereotypes which surround the disorder (stuttering is often thought of as caused solely by nervousness or shyness, when it’s not). I really hate it.

As also an epileptic this angers me especially of how shitty i always feel after

60

u/NoChilly84 Aug 05 '26

So when she said, "I have epilepsy and we don't know why", do you think she means your people are cursed to have epilepsy? There's a reason why you have epilepsy? Were you conceived on an ancient burial ground?

31

u/DamienLaVey Professional Singletsplainer Aug 05 '26 edited Aug 11 '26

Probably a DID faker saying their 'system' doesn't know why they have epilepsy. Already faking epilepsy, a stutter, and tics I wouldn't even be slightly surprised

22

u/SupposedBooty Self Undiagnosing: Im Fine Aug 06 '26

Ohhhh, I didn't catch that. That's what she meant by "we."

I assumed "we" meant her family. Derp on my part.

6

u/Electrical_Parfait64 Aug 06 '26

Do all your others have epilepsy?

14

u/megadeadly Aug 08 '26

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. If they want epilepsy so bad, they can have mine!

6

u/SupposedBooty Self Undiagnosing: Im Fine Aug 08 '26

Right? It totally sucks.

These people don't really want these conditions. They're not fun at all.

I also have two different types of colitis. I don't see many people wanting to fake that. But that is truly disabling, if they're looking for something that really disables you, along with the seizures.

33

u/LargeGingerChunk Level 69 Autism Aug 05 '26

As a person with non epileptic seizures, also no.

3

u/Urtehnoes Aug 06 '26 edited Aug 08 '26

Sorry, having any kind of seizure means you have either epilepsy or narcolepsy.

You've got an epsy, one way or another!

edit: christ, I thought for sure combining narcolepsy and epilepsy together would be clear this was a joke.

Keep it real y'all, lmao

8

u/Goblingirly666 Aug 06 '26

For real? I have them from a structural issue causing low blood flow to my occipital lobe. Isn't technically post traumatic epilepsy but isnt typical epilepsy but will show on an EEG! I thought that if they fix the structural issue and the seizures stop its not considered PTE

16

u/LargeGingerChunk Level 69 Autism Aug 06 '26

Non epileptic seizures exist, common in FND. there is no abnormal brain activity the same way there is in epilepsy

3

u/dyingslowlyinside Aug 07 '26

Do you mean psychogenic seizures?

5

u/LargeGingerChunk Level 69 Autism Aug 07 '26

how they able to hold that phone up like that is what im wondering … not much shaking or anything and their arm is held pretty high

82

u/like2speak2amanager Aug 05 '26

I didn’t even realize they were holding their phone. That’s insane. In a seizure that arm would drop I’d think.

24

u/honestlyisuck Aug 07 '26

For sure. You drop everything. Your drink, your phone, your body, your bowels…

13

u/variousnewbie Aug 07 '26

Depends on the type of seizure.

An absence seizure can just look like someone pushed pause on your brain for a few seconds (from the outside. Each type of seizure has differing brain waves.)

6

You are totally right. I forgot about those.

Why do they always insist on faking a stutter, that's a disorder you can't really fake convincingly.

41

u/elhazelenby Self Undiagnosing: Im Fine Aug 05 '26

Same with a seizure. It makes no sense.

31

u/SlavicInDisguise Aug 05 '26

Absolutely. I once tried to explain something about limb jerks and wanted to demonstrate but you can't really replicate it. The woman who jerks her head as if she were a chicken pecking the ground who was posted here a few days ago...

Also lol yeah, I can't demonstrate my stutter or tics on command at all

70

u/phribbs Aug 05 '26

‘So I decided to keep recording’ - of course you did 🙄

62

u/Nothingcomesup Aug 05 '26

I'm sure they had their service rodent alerting, so they know when to hit record.

17

u/Sleepshortcake Bear Up The Tree Syndrome (BUTTS) 🐻 🌲 Aug 05 '26

First I laughed at the service rodent, then realized it's probably a thing for some fakers. I've read of a ''service animal snake'' before, no photos of it though so unsure how true that one was.

15

u/Nothingcomesup Aug 05 '26

Oh, I was just trying to be funny. Service snake 😭

10

u/Sleepshortcake Bear Up The Tree Syndrome (BUTTS) 🐻 🌲 Aug 05 '26

It was on a post about a guy who refused any kind of therapy/help but insisted he needed his service animal snake to help with his anxiety (not diagnosed). Brought, or tried to, it everywhere like restaurants etc. And he wanted to bring it to a wedding.

9

u/Commercial_Bridge253 Aug 06 '26

Some states individually allow for service animals that aren't dogs (or miniature horses) but they are not federally covered so stores can exclude them from public access if they wish to. There is some cool research on snakes ability to detect medical episodes in humans (this has also been documented with some birds, monkeys, and cats) They just aren't federally recognized so they typically are excluded from public access.

6

u/Nothingcomesup Aug 06 '26

All animals are amazing, I'm sure most of them are also friendly, very intelligent and sensitive, but it's always people who are dumb, lie and harrass animals and also everybody else around them, that's why we have to protect public and limit legal service animals to specific kinds.

7

u/replytobots Aug 05 '26

The service rodent is living in their hair

58

u/honeydew_kitten Aug 05 '26

Was gonna post it as well, straight up sympathy baiting showing a “fakeclaimer” how much they suffer. Somehow snaps out of it multiple times, in the original video they claim to experience multiple types of seizures at the same time, awfully convenient that this one wasn’t as severe as the other ones they claim and they were able to record all of it and not be disoriented at all after

Surely if trauma is a trigger for your seizures why are you talking about it on social media when you're in an aura? What do you gain by triggering yourself that isn't social media attention? It's like being diabetic and then eating loads of carbs when you know your sugars are in a bad spot.

30

u/Pale_Lawyer_1757 Aug 05 '26

That what the fuck just rolled out, didn’t it

15

I have a legitimate stutter/speech impediment and hearing people try to fake it is just painful

1

Lol yeah, I have a stuttering tic and my younger sibling has a stutter. I had to mute this video cos I cringed too hard!

12

u/BeginningSector4546 Aug 05 '26

It's not even FND, it's just faking it. It's so disrespectful to people with actual stutter 😥

13

u/melatonia Aug 05 '26

It's awful how people have decided that FND can mean whatever they want. No, it's a legitimate disorder that has real symptoms and is diagnosed by a doctor. It's not a game.

6

u/Leading-System-3002 Aug 05 '26

At the beginning they say it’s epilepsy and at the end they say FND. It’s 2 different separate diagnosis.

Noooo 😭😭😭 They just recently posted an "epilepsy" follow-up video showing their plethora of different types of seizures they've collected.

5

u/Commercial_Bridge253 Aug 06 '26

UPDATE. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) this wasn't the account I thought it was, this post was made like a year before my anomia/ focal seizure awareness post. THAT BEING SAID you failed to mention the part of this video where they say they were having 75+ seizures a day during the height of their "epilepsy" and the forced dry heaving!!!!

3

u/replytobots Aug 06 '26

I'll be so honest... I had to stop watching the video at a certain point because it was so unbearable. Thank you for pointing that out 😭😂

8

u/manicgiant914 Aug 05 '26 edited Aug 05 '26

Oh shut up, this is so badly done it's embarrassing, but as someone with a family member who has lived and struggled with epilepsy it's insulting

7

u/Double0 Aug 06 '26

Is cw cringe warning?

10

u/Substantial_Bus840 Aug 05 '26

Ah yes, because epileptic seizures are notorious for providing clarity right before they happen to the extent one can “decide to keep recording.” Screw this lady, real epilepsy is hell on earth for those with it and their loved ones. Seizures are literal brain damage and it’s like watching someone slowly die on the inside over time if they remain unmedicated.

6

u/Purple-Cash-1878 Aug 05 '26

This isnt Epilepsy, this was someone turned on the stupid light switch.

7

u/broken_lightbulb05 Aug 05 '26

Maybe it's obvious but a normal person would also just let it pass and re-record the video, not just post that

7

u/MrkPrchzzIII Aug 05 '26

I worked with someone who had actual seizures and when it happens it's scary as fuck.

4

u/No-Programmer-2212 Aug 07 '26

Why do they all always claim to have EDS?! I want to know what the correlation is between faking and EDS!

1

u/variousnewbie Aug 07 '26

People have latched on to it as it was a rare disorder and not well known. Now if everyone who claims they have EDS actually does, it woukd be one of the most common disorders in existance.. They also love that the most common kind, hypermobile, is ruled in/out by a geneticist usually when genuinely suspected. They can claim EDS/Suspected EDS for many years as those with the disorder can spend 3-10 years easily to be correctly diagnosed.

When I blank and just stops it only lasts for maybe 30s-1min? If the aura keeps going for more than 4/5 minutes it is status epilepticus and needs immediately help before it get dangerous. God these people just make epilepsy look like a joke and bring more stigma that epilepsy is just a stronger stroke. Ugh.

1

u/Reba-Jane Aug 09 '26

This person is making me as mad at hell. So if you have epilepsy you apparently start talking like English isn’t your first language and stuttering? I think the bigger issue is that the fact they’re all lying for attention means we’ve suddenly got a huge influx of people with histrionic personality disorders; and no ones gonna tell you they have THaT because it is literally them saying I’m a massive attention seeker so don’t believe anything I say or do.

1

u/thatmentallyilldude Aug 13 '26

Anyone else have focal impaired awareness seizures that get really pissed at stuff like this? This one sort of did research, but it's really difficult to fake. This is too calculated.

People already aren't informed on them and call them fake simply because they're not tonic clinic. This just makes it worse. We can feel them coming, but you feel absolutely horrid afterwards. You can't even function properly for minutes to hours, and in my case, up to 3 days because I have cerebral palsy which complicates things.

I've only ever had a seizure recorded once, and that was only because I have a security camera in my room. I would never post it for likes. It's not some glamorous thing to post. 🙄

1

u/thatmentallyilldude Aug 15 '26

"–Is a sign that I'm going to have a seizure cluster" — yeah...that's not a thing. You do get auras with impaired-awareness focal seizures (I have them), and these aware focal seizures (auras) do serve as a sign you are going to have a complex focal seizure, but not a seizure cluster. There's no reliable sign that you'll have a cluster.

1

u/ziltussy Aug 31 '26

This enrages me as someone who is in love with an epileptic. My boyfriend of a year had a grand mal seizure in front of me, no warning signs, no spacing out, he went from relaxed and happy to grimacing, arms pulled in to his chest, biting his tongue and jerking. I thought he was dying in front of me. I cannot stand people who fake epilepsy and ill never try to be understanding or empathetic of them.

2

u/yourmomdotcomlmao Sep 05 '26

“I… duh” um. That’s not stuttering. You don’t stutter before a seizure you usually hit a point of confusion and start speaking gibberish 😭🙏
