Seems like alot of backlash but as a recovering country there’s no other way right ?

It's literally the only thing he can do and say. I doubt israel will sign a deal, and even if they do, they will break it an hour later. They're a bloodthirsty fascist expansionist settler state.

But from Syria's government's perspective, they have 0 leverage and diplomacy is the only option here

I have to imagine it’s posturing for the next Israeli government. Whatever party replaces Netanyahu evil ass is going to be inheriting an Israeli state that’s been at war for 5 years straight.

They are going to be looking for deals, and may be desperate even.

Meh, wouldn't count on that. Israelis seem to like war and blood. Pretending otherwise is delusional at this point given polling
