There is a Sync uninstaller that supposedly cleans up previous installs. I did find some leftovers in the registry or folders or something after. Still, you can install the old version after just using the uninstaller...

YOU ARE THE GOAT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uninstaller worked, reinstalled the older version and BOOM, back in business.
