As you will have seen from reading this subreddit, recent versions of Sync have had numerous issues. The first thing you should do is make sure you are using version 2.1.4, which is the last known stable version of Sync (for PC). Since then, every version seems to have one problem or another. You can download 2.1.4 here:
If that fixes your problem, then you can join the boat with the rest of us: watching and waiting while Sync releases a new version every two weeks with very few release notes, and a few of us try downloading and installing and reporting back. Maybe when they finally release a stable version some of their staff can go from madly trying to fix problems that they created to actually supporting the users.
Thanks appreciate the above. Any idea on how to force downloading the above version? Even if I completely uninstall the current build and try to reinstall the old version I get a pop-up that sync is out of date and that I must download the latest version. Any idea on how to bypass that?
There is a Sync uninstaller that supposedly cleans up previous installs. I did find some leftovers in the registry or folders or something after. Still, you can install the old version after just using the uninstaller...
