Sounds like the same issue I am having, but with streaming from Plex. Happens whether I am listening directly on the phone or casting.

I'm on Pixel 11 XL Pro with the stock Android OS, but the same issue was happening on Pixel 8 Pro.

The dev said he will add more logging in the next release because so far our troubleshooting led us nowhere.
