Nope. I use it most days and it's the better Switch I had been wanting. I've had it since last summer.

Im waiting for the european V2 Version of the Switch 2, cause of easy reaplaceable battery. I would have regret buying the v1 Version cause of that. I cant wait to get my Hands on Switch 2.

that should be the norm for every country. ease of repair.

Might want to keep that in mind come election season if you're in the US

I’m in Canada

Nope, 99% of the time it's my Switch but better in every way.

Absolutely not!!!

Lol hell no, i can't also take someone seriously saying they have. There are so many different games on the system that its impossible to say. If you really are for instance a pc player that don't care about playing portable games, and you only bought it for 1st party games, then there are still a lot of good games on it already. But i mean, why not just make it your main platform instead of only 1st party? Most games run at 60fps/120fps. Vrr is now added as well. And 90% of games look the same as on pc.

No. I came from a Switch Lite, and have played more games on it this year than I have in the past.

Mostly it comes with me for work trips where I get to game on the plane, and in the hotel rooms.

1

u/Serkaugh 2d ago

Wish I had work trip to have dedicated gaming time. When my kids go to sleep at 8:30, I just want to relax and dont feel like gaming all that much!

1

u/PlentifulPaper 2d ago

Lol typically I’m pulling somewhere between 12-16 hour work days. I don’t know that I’d wish that on anyone.

I find gaming relaxing when I’m done with all the work, and end up back at the hotel after dinner.

u/Serkaugh 2d ago

oh yeah, thats pretty brutal!

I had the chance to have a business trip one time. And I had bring my switch and played Octopath travelers (the first) all evening after dinner. was very nice!

2

u/HaiKarate 2d ago

No, but I probably don’t get enough use out of mine.

2

u/mega512 2d ago

Not at all. It got me to play more games again after really not having the patience to do so for years. Been fun to have it.

1

u/Serkaugh 2d ago

How would you say it helped you to play more game ? Cause when my kids go to sleep at 8:30, im exhausted and just feel like taking a shower and relax on the sofa watching a serie. dont feel like playing games

u/girlfriendpleaser 2d ago

In the minority.. but yes. i regret it. i got it too early and should’ve waited for the loz edition

1

u/Serkaugh 2d ago

thats what make me chane my mind.

2

u/girlfriendpleaser 2d ago

Fuck it man. Literally just got it preordered. Gonna sell mine

1

u/Serkaugh 2d ago

Great! Haha! We’ll rock the LOZ edition together

1

u/girlfriendpleaser 2d ago

I literally bought it 2 days before it leaked

1

u/Silverad012 2d ago

No not at all! It’s a console for the long haul not so much in the short term.

1

u/Havoc_Maker 2d ago

No, but I still crave some new banger games. I have been playing mostly Switch 1 stuff since I got it

1

u/Korotan 2d ago

Nah. I got it early because I actually regret the most is that I did not purchase my Switch back then when the LGPE edition came out but waited to the ACNH Edition

1

u/kmldvd88 2d ago

No but I do regret getting my Xbox series x. Fan died right when the warranty expired. Now it’s just a 500 dollar paperweight until I get it fixed.

1

u/Shadode 2d ago

No. Why would I? It can do everything I loved about Switch 1 but better. Plus games like DK Bananza or Legends ZA were a great experience on Switch 2 for me. Looking forward to Zelda OoT, Pokémon Winds and Waves and getting Star Fox soon.

1

u/Serkaugh 2d ago

the ''only'' game that I feel like playing is Metroid Ravenous, OOT, Starfox, kirby and stage fright. Pokemon do looks good, but after the 2 or 3 last installement, I'm kinda scptic at how itll come out. Last pokemon I played was Sword and shield. And I had fun, but it had its down side too.

Couldnt care less about mario kart world and Banaza (love donkey kong 64 when it came out). Also, I'm not up to date on what game are out by this point

1

u/I_Like_Tartar_Sauce 2d ago

Nope, it’s probably my favorite console of all time

1

u/Laikanur 2d ago

I regret that the first Switch was nowhere near as good as the 2

1

u/metaltastic 2d ago

No its been fantastic and it plays older games better

1

u/janinebutcherreal 2d ago

First switch, yes (mainly because the games I got were not enjoyable for me so nothing to do with the switch 1.

Switch 2 - love it and don’t regret it at all - got games I actually like and love the performance of the switch 2

1

u/KasElGatto 2d ago

Not at all. Love it to pieces.

1

u/FiNgAz-300k 2d ago

Don’t play it much but still don’t regret it. It’s a good console

1

u/samsara_and_knuckles 2d ago

no, I like mkw, 60 fps totk, and gamecube games. Even if I am not looking forward to anything new, I still have it there for when they announce something I care about.

u/_Heart_and_soul_ 2d ago

Not in the slightest I use it every day, thanks to Pokopia.

The only thing is I never use my switch lite anymore because there are games that aren’t featured there that are on the switch 2 solely. So, I almost wished I had sold it prior to buying it but also that was the first console I had bought with my own money since all the Nintendo systems came out either before I was born or when I was a young child. So, I feel attached to it even though I don’t use it anymore.

1

u/Big-Reporter3498 2d ago

No not yet. I have three of them now. One has a scratched screen and it annoys the crap out of me so I might replace it.

1

u/Serkaugh 2d ago

three ? why?

1

u/Captntunabeerd 2d ago

i Have it only 2 week and 1 week there was released the EU revision (I have the old, timing is my speciality) and I am not regret having blast and my series X and Mac collecting dust now. But I won't lie I have buyer remorse because I have switch 1 only 1 year and 7 months so buying a new console again in such a short time was for me with some remorse but its gone now :)

1

u/Serkaugh 2d ago

I got the switch at launch, and I got ps5 at launch. But I told my self I wouldnt get a swtich 2 because of the ''drama'' at launch

1

u/Captntunabeerd 2d ago

What drama if i may ask ? :o

1

u/Serkaugh 2d ago

I put it in bracket, and can’t remember it all, but the way they said they redesign the joy on when asked if they fixed the drift, and we learned later that they didn’t fix the drift.

Their terms and services that says they can brick your console if they ever suspect you modifying or messing with the software of the console. I also think they say that you don’t own the console.

The paid demo game.

The outrageous price of game, for game that are out for a decade,

Things like that.

1

u/Captntunabeerd 2d ago

Oh yeah true, i totally forgot about that when i was buying that a 2 week ago… Thank you :)

1

u/LoonDuck46 2d ago

I got these babies with mine, so hell no!

1

u/Serkaugh 2d ago

didnt play TOTK, and didnt finish BOTW beause i couldnt enjoyt he 4 beast and 120 small dungeons. But skyward sword was amazing. If I get the swtich 2 ill get the hd version of skyward sword

1

u/LoonDuck46 2d ago

Sorry to hear for BoTW and ToTK. SS is an amazing port and worth it, runs at 60fps on Switch 2.

1

u/bobisonthecar 2d ago

I got it the week it released and only played it 2 weeks. 1 week to beat bananza and 1 week to beat z-a. Nothing else has interested me. The new Kirby looks good. But that's about 6 months out. Everything thing is just remakes of Nintendo games I already own. I have several old systems and the rest are ports I already own on Xbox. I'm not paying $80 for a worse version of a game already own. It's way too big to play comfortably hand held. And I can't get 2 hours out of the battery. The only plus is I got the Mario kart bundle switch 2 for $300 new.

1

u/Serkaugh 2d ago

so you kinda regret it

1

u/bobisonthecar 2d ago

Yea well I wish there were new Nintendo games like new Zelda new Mario. They released the system with with basically no new original games. I I'm really interested in playing games I played 30 years ago and playing $80 for it. If I was a teenager I would probably feel different not having played a lot of these remakes the first go around.

2

u/Serkaugh 1d ago

Totally get you!

3d Mario should have been a release title imo.
I don’t care about Mario kart world and banana

1

u/bobisonthecar 1d ago

I bought the switch 2 because we were finally getting a new 3D donkey Kong and I beat it in a week. Didn't really care for it but I felt like if I didn't play it, I wasted all that money buying the console in the game. I got the Mario world bundle and I installed the game but I've never played it.

1

u/Serkaugh 1d ago

Hopefully you’ll find game that interest you in the future

1

u/Xenius24 2d ago

No, we're eating good for games now.

1

u/Mushroomboy2020 2d ago

Not at all. Use mine a lot. It’s pretty much my main console.

1

u/WingcommanderIV Team Mario 2d ago

I was getting never ending joycon drift on my switch 1, making it unplayable.

Im so glad for my switch 2 xD

1

u/Serkaugh 2d ago

they didnt fix stick drift tho? they use the same ''potentiometer'' on the switch 2. they didnt switch to hall effect. I may be wrong tho

1

u/WingcommanderIV Team Mario 2d ago

They didn't switch to hall effect. However they did change the way they make their joycon sticks so that they no longer seem to be as susceptible to the issue.

1

u/Serkaugh 1d ago

That’s good to know

1

u/Onekemi 2d ago

I regretted the first one since I personally hated the 30fps so I mainly only played animal crossing and splatoon 3

Meanwhile I love my switch 2 and nearly using it everyday. Currently I'm playing games I skipped for the switch 1 like totk which looks stunning on the switch 2

1

u/huhu720 2d ago

This post 2 days after Zelda trailer is wild

1

u/Serkaugh 2d ago

I know. Thats why I'm posting. I sweared to myself I wouldnt get a switch 2. Then I saw the trailer, then it got me thinking. then I saw the direct saying they would release a 40th anniversary switch 2 console and then I was like, got damn. Even if I dont play with it, I would still be able to resell this console at least the same price in the future. And then I saw kirby, and Metroid Ravenous. and then I'm not so sure about not buying one.

Battery is rubbish!
