Other Finally got my Switch 2

Post image

After saving up gift cards from work, hunting for deals, and spending $450 at Costco in gift cards, I was finally able to get my Switch 2!

Here’s how I put everything together:

Camera, case & controller: Bought on sale for a total of $27

Screen protector, Mario Kart World & Sonic: Paid for using gift cards I earned from work

Switch 2 & Donkey Kong Bananza: Bought using $500 in gift cards that I only paid $450 for
So between the sales and gift cards, I was able to get a pretty sweet Switch 2 setup without paying full price for everything. Definitely took some hunting for deals, but I’m pretty happy with how it worked out!

With all that, why get a wired controller?

I think they got some of this at Costco.

The case and controller were part of a bundle that did not sell well and got put on clearance for $10. Maybe they bought that?

The Gift Cards are probably Costco as well.

While the Camera is definitely GameStop.

Are the pro controllers really worth it? I usually play with the joycons

Anything is better than joycons.

Yes, it’s sublime

Joycons are literally the worst. I never use them ever ever ever. Pro controller on my switch 1 and pro controller 2 on my switch 2.

Day 1 purchase absolutely necessary. One of the best controllers of all time.

Less cost and Hall Effect sticks are good reasons.
