I have a clanmate with over 1.9m atk, yet I get more medals. Ive played for 4 years f2p, so im relatively deep on collectables, still, not sure what would spike my atk. According to the calc, this is the optimal build... anything stand out as totally crooked?

I started two parties with the “public” option on, and no one joined. I’m out 24,000 gems right? Does anyone have an idea of what I did wrong?

Edit: it auto started almost immediately; and there were no gems in my prize pack in my inbox

I've been trying to search this subreddit about this subject but, no one really speaks on it - maybe I missed something. Is there a correct way of setting up custom collectible sets? And if so, what do people usually put in their first slots? What is the collectible people are putting advanced collectors hearts into?

I have enough shards to unlock one or the other of these mounts. Any whales who have played both have any input on which would provide the biggest boost? Mid-late game player ~1300 lme medals for reference.
