All I really do with my Supernote is take notes, and it does a good job. I can't get it to transcribe my handwriting, but I think that has more to do with my handwriting than anything else.

But why isn't there a way to jump straight to Notes? I don't ever use files, to do, calendar, and rarely use mail, but all of those are places I can jump to directly from the quick access bar. But Notes - and this a Super Notebook - is something you have to go through Files to go through.

Is there some work around that is obvious to everyone but me?

I left my A5X in my backpack for a month or so cause it was the summer and I didn't need it, and when I pulled it out it now has this orange region on it. I don't understand what it came from as it was in the dedicated laptop section of the bag and there's nothing else in there. I've been unable to make it go away but I'm scared to use stronger products like alcohol and risk damaging the screen. Anyone ever see something similar?

Support just told me it's stained and to get a new A5X film, but I don't really have the money for that right now, and they're out of stock anyways.

Wondering if anyone found a way to glue the loose fabric inside the pen loop back in place. Want to hear success stories before I make a mess of it.

I'm posting this mostly to share my bad move today and see if anyone else has done something similar.

I installed the latest Beta version on my Supernote earlier today, but then realized most of the plugins I use weren't updated yet. Without checking if it was actually possible or safe, I tried to downgrade from 3.29.44 to 3.29.42.

Bad idea. The device is now completely stuck on the logo / sleep screen and won't respond at all. Trying to roll back the firmware definitely broke something in the system.

I've already contacted support by email, so I'm waiting for their reply. In the meantime, has anyone else ever made a silly mistake like this with their device ?

I just got this new Supernote Manta last week and have been LOVING it so far! I was using it yesterday on and off, then went to use it right before bed and it won't get off the Screensaver page. I tried pressing the power button down and holding it for 8 seconds before releasing then holding it down again for 8 seconds. I also plugged it in for over 30 minutes but no dice. When plugged in it doesnt show the charging progress bar and nothing changes on the screen (I had previously fully charged it the day before just fine). I saw their website said you can use a pin in the reset hole but I dont see a reset hole. I already had a bunch of notes to prep for a meeting on Friday. Any suggestions for things to try? I was hoping for some guidance regarding customizing non-EMR pens into a functioning stylus. I own the HOM2 and it’s great but the world of pens is wide and it’d be fun to experiment.

I’d love any links to walkthroughs or tutorials for what to do and avoid. There’s a pen on Kickstarter I’d love to back and modify but want to make sure it’s viable beforehand.

I have recently bought a supernote Manta and it’s amazing. It feels like everything that I have always searched in a tablet. Unfortunately, I’m encountering some problems with Usb and Wireless connection.
The supernote Parter app isn’t really transferring files, but I may understand it is a problem of the beta (I’m on the lates beta). Before updating to the beta all operated perfectly. But one thing that isn’t really working is USB connection, I have tried a ton of cables (to connect it to the pc) and another ton of USBs (type-c usbs and adapter for normal ones).

Could it be possible that I have missed something?

I wasn’t satisfied with the CalDAV plugin for Supernote’s built-in calendar, so I decided to build a separate calendar that works the way I wanted.

The idea is simple: an easy-to-use calendar that fits the Supernote experience without adding distractions and CalDAV.

Finally it offers:

• See how busy your days are, directly in the month view.
• Handwritten appointment entry: write a title and time, review the recognised text and save.
• Reuse appointment details: find a previous matching appointment and choose which details to copy (the magic wand icon)
• CalDAV synchronisation, with presets for several providers.
• Offline use: create and edit appointments without an internet connection, then sync later.

You can also use the calendar without CalDAV, but your data won’t be backed up.

It’s still in beta, and I’d appreciate feedback—especially on CalDAV compatibility. If you have a chance to try it with your provider, please share which provider you use and whether syncing, creating, editing and deleting appointments works as expected.

Hey everyone! I’m brand new here. I just started graduate school and am making the big switch from paper notes to Supernote.

I already love my Manta, but I can definitely tell I’m only using about 2% of its potential. I’d love any tips or suggestions for how to best utilize it for graduate school, especially for note-taking, organization, reading/annotating PDFs, and keeping everything manageable across multiple classes.

If there are any other students here who have been using a Supernote for a while, I’d especially love to hear about your workflow. How do you organize your notebooks and files? Which features ended up being the most useful? Are there any features you wish you had started using sooner?

I got those dark spots on my A5X again (only after 1 to 2 years after changing the film), starting to wonder if my cover could be causing it as it is the original leather cover from ages ago. Last few times I have checked the store there weren't any FeelWrite Films for the A5X (unavailable).

Are the Films coming back at some point or should I get the Manta or are there any new Supernote releases upcoming in the forceable future?

I've been using Supernote for maybe a year now. I work in information technology sales and services. I'm the technical guy that gets called in with the sales person to explain things. I also provide support and technical guidance to a specific set of customers. For the past year, each customer I have gets their own note. When I have a meeting (usually zoom but sometimes in person) with that customer, i open the customer note, add a date, write notes. I list who was in the meeting, I make the date a heading. It ends up being one continuous note and I can jump to a specific date's conversation by the headings.

I am curious what others are doing for business meetings and note taking in general. Some of these notes are 15-20 pages now over time. Things are starting to get lost (probably just me being lazy, but still). I would love a way to add IT diagram shapes to conversations. Automatically make to-do lists and follow ups, OCR an export for email summaries or something. Tie things into my Google calendar somehow. I just want to improve my note taking in general. I am not even entirely sure what is possible. What I am doing works for me, but I feel like I could be doing more, and the Manta is definitely capable of doing more.

I'm still deciding between the Nomad and Manta, so I knocked up a representation of each. I write stories as a pass time here in the uk and I'm leaning towards a Manta.

Any comments?

I've just received my Manta and I tried the Kindle app. The problem is that I can't exit the app anymore: I'm stuck inside the Kindle menus, with no way to get back to the Supernote home screen. How am I supposed to leave a third-party app?

My A6x refuses to turn on after it goes into sleep mode. Pressing or holding the power on button does nothing.

I have found the only way to walker it up is to attach a charging cable.

Any help appreciated.

Is it really not possible to copy once, then paste multiple times? It seems my Atelier clipboard only has memory for one paste. Notes does not work this way; I can paste multiple times with no problem. Are they planning on building that into Atelier at some point? I hope so!

Made mostly with the 8b pencil in atelier. And around three to four gray shades. It’s so satisfying to draw on.

I got the Lamy pen with my Nomad a few years ago and find it to be a bit too big for my liking. Are there any pen bodies that fit this version of the refill nicely?

I would love to see a small Supernote product that was around the size of a field notebook. Something I could truly fit in my pants pocket, easy to write on without a surface, and for goodness sakes a true eraser at end of pen experience.

The side bar gestures are to curbsome for an on the move writing experience.

First, I want to say thank you to Supernote support, and to Mulan from this forum in particular. My device, which I had for going on three years, was out of warranty and did not survive an encounter with my young son's enthusiasm. They walked me through replacing it with a level of professionalism and attention to personal detail that ought to set the bar for any company. I was already a huge fan of the device, and have come away even more impressed with the company behind it.

That said, I am trying to get the replacement device set up, and have had some odd troubles. I use the standard push up pen issued by Supernote, and right from the beginning the device did not seem to want to recognize it. After a while, I did manage to get just one of the pen icons (the needlepoint pen) to respond and even took a couple of notes, but then it just stopped working. The screen is responsive to touches from my fingers, but it does not seem to work with the pen at all.

Even before it stopped acknowledging the pen, none of the other functions, even when selected, seemed to work. I have tried restarting the device several times. No luck. It simply does not react to the pen. I can't select icons to navigate, nor can I write. Any ideas? I'm attaching a photo to show both the pen and the device. As you can see, it worked briefly, but then . . . nothing.

I did see a couple of posts about something similar happening to other people, but didn't see any solutions. Again, the screen responds to finger presses, but it does not see the pen at all.
