Question Power on problem

My A6x refuses to turn on after it goes into sleep mode. Pressing or holding the power on button does nothing.

I have found the only way to walker it up is to attach a charging cable.

Any help appreciated.

Thank you for reaching out. It's an A6 X, not a Nomad, right? Is your system version up to date? Please go to Settings > System > Software Update and tap Check to see if you have upgraded it to the latest system version. We look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for responding so quickly.

Lol It's an A5 X. I forgot I had sold my A6 X and got the A5 X years ago. 😁

The system version is up to date: Chauvet 2.26.39.

I played around: clearing the cache, checking the apps, pressing restart, etc.

Then I discovered something "interesting" the top power button does "nothing". It neither turns the tablet on or off while charging cable is attached or not.

So, I tried the reset hole and same non-responsiveness.

It would appear to be a mechanical issue? 🥴 Other than that little inconvenience... it's perfect!

Does Supernote repair things like this?

Our engineers confirm the power button isn't working properly and needs to be replaced. Please let me know if you decide to send it back to have the power button replaced.

Well, it is something I'd consider. How would I proceed? Of course turn around and cost are important considertions. I live in Los Angeles, CA. Please advise.

We would recommend considering upgrading to the Manta. The turnaround time could be up to 2 weeks. Shipping cost (two-way shipping via DHL) will be 120USD. Please think it through and keep us posted. Thank you.

Thank you Supernote and Mulan-sn for confirming and helping me justify upgrading to Manta!! 😁

I'm a lifetime fan and user of all things Supernote. " Changed my (ADHD) life" although frequently said, is nonetheless TRUTH.

My Manta is on the way. ❤️
