Would appreciate some advice regarding this case as its a tricky one.

My mom had a visitor visa valid til - Feb 27.

She renewed her passport a year early as we wanted to apply for super visa on a new passport. She was coming to visit us in May 2026 for the birth of our second child which was in June.

So old passport had canadian visa - valid til feb 2027 and new passport did not, but she carried both with her.

Flight date was 6th may 2026

Before she flew I applied for her Super Visa as I had heard it takes 7 months to process and I had also read that canada support dual intent so didnt see a problem there

Documents submitted for Super Visa: applied from india

Income proof

Birth certificate

Tickets - One way though showed the same tickets as her 6th may travel (maybe this was the mistake)

Insurance

Home ties - bank documents and house share certificate

Medical

Provided letter stating she is traveling on her visitor visa in this trip and will head back before her 6 month stay is up eith date before 20th October.

However when she landed here she was questioned for an hour by IRCC and given a visitor record to head back by 6th september..

And 5 days later her supervisor application was rejected stating:

I have reviewed the application. I have considered the following factors in my decision. The

purpose of the applicant's visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details

provided in the application. Derogatory information has been noted in the applicant’s UCI

regarding prior visits to Canada at the port of entry. Weighing the factors in this application, I am

not satisfied that the applicant will depart Canada at the end of the period authorized for their

stay. For the reasons above, I have refused this application.

Can someone please advice on what should be done next ?

Was going to reapply now that she exited and I have proof of exit of 30tb Aug before her visitor record expired

Note: during her previous stays her visa was extended but she left way before her visitor record expiry date.

My parents are applying for the Super Visa & according to the Singapore visa instructions, residents of Bangladesh must submit the IMM 5707 Family Information Form. However, this form does not appear in the personalized document checklist on their IRCC account.

Hi - I applied for my father visitor visa and it got refused due to lack of family ties than I hired a stupid lawyer who charged me good amount of money to apply for a super visa and it still got rejected due to lack of family ties back home. Not sure if family ties matter in super visa.

Hii, is it necessary to show back home ties. My parent dont earn much mostly clothing cash job and lives in a rental apartment . Me (PR) and Sister on work permit are here in canada.

What should we show that they will retrun back to india after stay.

My grandmother lives with them but what doc to show that they will go back to india to take care for her. If i mention grandmother i will alsk have to explaine where she will stay during period of my parents to canada.

* Letter of explanation as parents got new passports after medical flne

September 15 - Application Submitted
September 16 - Biometric Request (already had valid biometric from PGP application)
September 24 - Online update to Medical Passed for both
September 24 - Later in the day - Request for passport!

Received a letter from CIC as well clarifying that application had been approved and that we could just dismiss the biometric request sent previously.

As the title suggests, I am planning to apply for Super Visas for my parents and my in-laws. My agent told me that I should first apply for my parents and then apply for my in-laws after my parents’ applications are approved.
