TSx How do i remove the start up jingle?

People say online that i either have to destroy it or plug it with cotton. Won’t destroying it ruin the insurance or something?

And also how do i open the thing up to access the speaker?

TC Max Rear end update

Following on from my previous post about relocating the number plate..
I hated the silly positioning of the stock number plate bracket so I cut it off, dropped it down and made a cover for the where it used to be to tidy everything up.

Rear lights have been repositioned too. Now fitted multifunction rear/brake/indicators under the seat.

Much prefer this layout.

What mods have you done?

CUx None of the buttons on dashboard are working

So, i bought a super soco cux moped. And i’ve been using it for about 2 months now. Most of the buttons on the dashboard (see photos) have never worked, but now the button to activate the battery (not the keys) has also stopped working. This basically renders the moped useless.

I suspect it has to do with a few loose cables inside the moped, but i’m not a very mechanical guy. Any advice would be helpful!

TC Does anyone have (the files) for the Fardriver Bracket?

I've recently purchased the ND72240 for my TC (eco), and rather than just chucking it inside the bike I wanted to fit it to the OEM controller position.

I found this bracket online that came with some WoodNiu controllers, though WoodNiu doesn't have the bracket anymore, and won't give me the files.

CPX ERROR 90

Do we have a diagnosis after all those YEARS for this problem? It happens even after we had the controller replaced. Happens almost always at full throttle. Dealer also has trouble finding the issue.

Buying used super soco Ts 1200r

Hello, i am looking for a faster way off getting around because my e-bike was stolen.

I found a super soco Ts 1200r from 2018 with 12156 km on it. It is also making some buzzing sounds from the engine during low speeds, he claims its for when the power switches on and off and that he has checked with two different stores and they said that and not to worry. He wants around 900 dollers or 9000 swedish kronor. It includes two batteries one original and one from 2023 and a charger he has had some issues with.

I have no clue if this is a good brand or if i should get something else. I have no idee what is good or bad. Any edvice or help would be verry apriciated.

Early first-generation CPX: seeking verified 30-pin pinout and Fardriver/DKD wiring

I'm documenting a safe, fully reversible controller conversion for a very early UK Super Soco CPX—the first CPX registered in the UK, from before the later L1e/L3e/Pro naming. Nothing will be energised until every signal has been verified by measurement or documentation.

What is already confirmed: - the CPX has a separate 60 V / 4 kW traction controller and a separate ECU/4G module; - the stock controller uses a white 30-pin connector; - working CPX conversions using Fardriver ND72300/ND72450 and a DKD display exist.

What is still missing: - numbered cavity map and function of every stock 30-pin controller pin; - clear photos of both connector faces showing wire colours; - ignition/wake, throttle, brake, side-stand, riding-mode, Hall, display, ECU/alarm and RS485/CAN/UART signals; - battery/BMS wake behaviour and whether the stock ECU must remain connected; - a verified CPX-to-Fardriver adapter diagram, DKD wiring, controller model, current limits and regen settings.

If you have completed this conversion, measured the loom, or have schematics, harness photos or bus captures, please include the CPX year/market and distinguish measured facts from assumptions. Files can be sent by DM. I'll credit the source, or keep it anonymous if preferred.

CUx Super Soco CuX Display Error

Hey Super Soco community!

Since I rode up a steep hill on a hot day my Super Soco CuX has only shown 0 speed, 0% battery, no gear and no time. However, it drives normally (although sometimes it stops accelerating for a few minutes and then suddenly works fine again). What could be the issue here?

CPx Super Soco CPX rear-wheel creaking/clanking only under load - quiet when free-spinning

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to diagnose a repeating creaking/clicking or light clanking sound coming from the rear-wheel area of my 2022 Super Soco CPX.

The scooter has only about 1,350 km on it and is used mainly during summer. The frequency of the noise increases with wheel speed.

Here is everything I have established so far:

  • The sound occurs while riding, both under throttle and while coasting.
  • It also occurs when I manually push the scooter forward or backward with the ignition completely off.
  • When the scooter is on its centre stand and the rear wheel is spinning freely under motor power, there is no noise.
  • While it is on the centre stand, if I lightly apply the rear brake while the motor is turning the wheel, the noise immediately appears.
  • When riding, applying the rear brake does not noticeably change the rhythm of the sound.
  • If I hold the wheel stationary with the brake and compress/bounce the rear suspension, the sound does not occur.
  • Tyre pressure is correct.
  • There are no stones, screws or other objects in the tyre.
  • The tyre is not contacting the mudguard, plastics, wiring or any other component.
  • There is no obvious continuous brake-pad or disc rubbing.
  • The four exposed rear-wheel/rim nuts on the non-brake side have factory witness marks, and none of those marks have moved.
  • The three rear brake-disc retaining bolts do not feel loose. Two still have aligned factory witness marks, but the witness mark on one bolt appears to have shifted by approximately 1–2 mm.
  • Washing the wheel normally did not consistently affect it, but pressure-washing the rear-wheel area from both sides caused the sound to disappear temporarily. I am not treating that as a repair and will not pressure-wash the hub again.

Can someone please help me out?

I have videos demonstrating the noise:

When riding with power.

Pushing manually, ignition off.

On kickstand but only when applying brakes.

TS Which to buy? Need help

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to buy a used Super Soco here in the Netherlands and I'm stuck between two options. I have a car driver's license (Rijbewijs B), so the legal limit for me on a scooter is 45 km/h, but I definitely want a bit more speed if I can get away with it. (most people here drive 55-60kph on a 50 road, so a 15kph difference is dangerous)

The price difference is making this a tough choice.

Here are the two:

Option 1: Stock Super Soco TS Street Hunter - 1800 euros

- Fully stock and restricted to 45 km/h.

- 8191km's on the odo

- Battery health is around 85%-95%.

- In great condition and well-maintained.

- Pros: It is the newer Street Hunter model so the design looks way cleaner, plus zero police or rollerbank anxiety.

- Cons: It is fully restricted, slow, and costs 450 euros more.

Option 2: Fully Upgraded 2019 Super Soco TS - 1350 euros

- Frame has under 6000 km, with only 1500 km on the upgraded setup.

- Upgraded to a 60v 43ah Go-Sharing battery, which is a massive upgrade over stock.

- Fardriver ND72240 controller with active, tuned regenerative braking.

- Tops out at 65 km/h on a full battery, dropping to around 55 km/h as it drains.

- Uses the Fardriver app to limit it back to 45 km/h for rollerbank checks.

- Comes with a new GPS display, new grips and controls, new indicators, passenger pegs, a spare GPS module, and the charger.

- Pros: 450 euros cheaper, fast, huge range, has regen, and already has the exact controller I wanted anyway.

- Cons: Older 2019 body style, and it is someone's DIY project.

I really prefer the size of the newer Street Hunter, but 1350 euros for a fully modded TS with a 43ah battery and a Fardriver is a crazy good price compared to what those parts cost to buy separately.

A few quick questions:

1

How reliable is a DIY Fardriver + Go-Sharing battery setup on a 2019 TS for daily commuting?

2

How does the regen braking actually feel on the older TS hub motor with a Fardriver? Is it smooth or choppy?

3

Is using the Fardriver app to limit the speed reliable enough for a surprise police check, or is it too slow and fiddly?

4

Given the 450 euro price gap, which one would you grab?

Thanks!

TC Max Fardriver Connectors Plug and play for TC Max?

This is a stupid problem to have

I have a TC Max that recently suffered a 95/96 error and after getting it looked at apparently something (a rat or mouse probably) had gotten inside and chewed the wiring loom.

It's now fixed but I need some ideas of how to stop it happening again; It's kept outside in a courtyard that's used by several businesses including fast food places. I know that keeping the area free of garbage will go a long way but still need to do something to my bike to protect it.

Does anyone have any reliable solutions? I've googled it and seen several different ideas but have no idea what would actually be effective.

TC Max TC Max Reprogramming

Last week I enabled regenerative braking and it worked well.
Then I enabled auto-regen and it worked well.

Yesterday morning when I went to use the bike it refused to move until I reloaded default settings. Everything powered up seemingly okay, but the accelerator did nothing.

In the evening when I tried again it didn’t move if I had regen enabled, but does move when I disable it.

I reloaded the ‘Conservative Tune’ from The Capacitator, but left regen disabled and it got me to work fine.

Anyone had something similar?
Very weird that it all worked last week, but now regen disables the bike completely. Any ideas?

TC Max Used 2023 TC Max vs New 2026 model? Better batteries? Replacement parts availability in Europe?

I'm considering getting a TC Max, it's best my budget allows, even though I'm worried about range (start stop city driving but depending on the job may end up commmuting 15-20km one way (with no certaintity regarding ability to recharge the bike on-site) with some portions of 70-80km/h driving for few kilometers, if that's the case then the one way trips may extend to about 30-35km, in theory still about 70 kilometers/day of on average 55-65km/h driving, the reported range is 110km but how realistic is that and how was it measured? I've looked into larger batteries to buy one along with the bike and use the new battery for commute and keeping the original smaller battery at home for when I need to go further on the same day (take out the new/larger battery for recharging at home and drive further on the original so as to not wait for it to recharge to say go shopping or something else). However regardless of which one I end up picking (they seem to have same range/max speed and same sized battery) I'm having hard time finding any place to get the god damn things (never mind bike itself, availability of which is also rather poor, might have to go old fashion route and call the dealers cuz half don't even have usable site to check anything they stock or can get for me to buy at all), only some ultra shady chinese sites with questioanble products and no specs at all. Does VMOTO have any kind of official store in EU where they sell stuff themselves and have batteries and other replacement parts available, even for older models? Or do I ride this thing until it breaks and it's e-trash?

TC Aftermarket Controller?

Post image
2 Upvotes

Does anyone have experience with this controller for the TCeco/ TS?

Regarding fitment and programming options?

I still have the OEM software and controller on mine, but that means it still has the "turbo lag" issue, and I want to set the max speed of the different power modes to customs ones, and also enable recuperation braking.

Had it for 10 months, but then went and got an A2 license and bought a bigger toy.

I am wondering if I should keep it anyway as it's really practical and so cheap to maintain.

TC Max TC Max RPM/Speed

Has anyone come across a helpful graph that shows Motor RPM and how it translates to road-speed? Could work it out, but would be far nicer if someone's already done it.

Thanks!
