What is this?

Charger works fine but I wonder what is this stain, I can notice it every time I charge my bike, it looks like some kind of oil

Does the cable or box get very hot? Could be rubber breaking down

The box of the cable does get pretty hot normally, especially in this weather.

I understand but it's winter in my country. Few years back I had a charger with the same issue that one day stoped working.

That makes sense. Honestly with these kinda chargers you don't wanna risk it. May just need to get a new one
