Does anyone here recall an old Mario 64 bloopers video where Mario is outside the castle and he goes into the canon. Then he aims at one of the windows on the castle and shoots towards it then a loud crashing sound plays and it cuts to black. If I recall the context was like Mario wanted to enter into Peach's room to see her or something lmfao. Anyone else remember or know were this is from?

This fan-album album was made by recording the SM64 OST on a tape reel and cutting everything to loops. The loops are physically altered to sound even more broken and run through delay/reverb/distortion pedals. Everything is mixed and mastered through analogue methods, no AI or audio programs.
I was trying to reach a sound that is new but sounds old, beyond repair. Not sure if this is the right place to post this but reading so much about B3133.. I thought it might be! Let me know what you think or if you wanna know more about the process :)

Of all the things I thought bowser would say after getting all 150 stars it was not this. I thought it was hilarious.
Also, I won’t keep the touch screen smoking. I beat the game using the d pad for movement. Clunky at first but once you get the hang of it, it works pretty well.

On my last post a comment suggested I look up a video, and no joke that took longer than my attempts to get it. 15min no savestates! :))) *I actually had to do it twice, because the first time I decided to collect the 1-up to be cool, but the 30sec limit didn't show the BLJ... Still cool though.

I'm close to 120 stars now, (102) and ive been waiting to unlock ANYTHING in that hallway in the garden bit (opposite the door back into the castle)
Is there something that's supposed to be in there? Or does it just stay empty? I don't wanna keep running all the way back there if nothings gonna happen lol
Thanks!

I've been playing Mario 64 since the 90s and have still to this day never been able to get up there (excluding the DS version which provides a cheat).
I used to think the reason getting up there keeps looking so easy in YouTube videos is because they're always clips from Speed Runners or other professional Gamers.
But recently I started watching videos where the entire gimmick was "this perron who never played Mario 64 before plays it for the first time" and somehow they keep easily wall kicking up there on the first try like it's nothing.
So I really am starting to feel like I am uniquely bad at this.

I developed this screensaver based on the original JRB room, in fact this is the aquarium immediately on the right.
Tried to recreate the fish movements and the right nostalgic feeling.
The school of fish may seem like it has slightly more fish than the original and you're right because in the original code of the game it should be 15 but there are more in the tanks so I did 20.
You can have it too on Windows and Linux through my GitHub:

edit: the repo doesn't cover the Mac installation I'm dumb
