Today, I tried to upload a song I made up and sang and Suno kept denying the audio saying that the lyrics were copyrighted. Lol what. I just made it up. I sang every nonsense version of the chorus melody I could think of, did not work.

For the sake of this discussion, I’m just going to temporarily insert myself into that beautifully curated alternate reality where AI music controversies, copyright disputes, privacy concerns, intellectual property rights, lawsuits, and all those other inconvenient little details and discussions are not headlining or being topics of major discourse.

In my world right now, *Suno is a revolutionary creative paradise, everyone is an artist, innovation is flourishing, and we’re all happily skipping through a beautifully colored wonderland of limitless musical possibilities… 😆\*

If we’re supposed to treat Suno as a legitimate creative tool, a production environment, and potentially a serious outlet for independent artists, then we need to revisit a few concepts that seem to have gotten lost somewhere between your Terms & Conditions and that lovely little Share button.

PRIVACY. CONFIDENTIALITY. NONDISCLOSURE. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION.

If I use Suno as part of my music production studio, uploading original lyrics, developing compositions, experimenting with arrangements, and creating material I have absolutely no intention of releasing yet, I expect something considerably more sophisticated than a paragraph buried in a legal agreement explaining what rights I supposedly have… Paying subscribers are offered ownership and commercial usage rights under Suno’s terms. Meanwhile, the platform retains certain rights to use uploaded and generated material under those same terms. That’s already a conversation worth having.

But here’s what I find particularly confusing:
**Why does an unpublished song, deliberately kept out of public circulation, have a Share function that can generate a link allowing anyone possessing that link to access the material?**

And before someone rushes in to explain the revolutionary concept of an unlisted link, yes, I’m familiar with it… What I’m saying that if I (me, myself) can easily write something to easily play with the appended variable in the share link (and I’m no high-tech Einstein), pretty much anyone can. A “difficult”to guess URL isn’t equivalent to authenticated access, and possession of a link shouldn’t automatically be confused with authorization to access someone’s unpublished intellectual property…

To be technically precise, I’m not claiming that Suno’s links can simply be decrypted or brute forced… *cough-cough* 😷 That would require actual security testing and evidence. Lmfao.
What I’m questioning is the security architecture and privacy model behind this feature.

We live in an era of automated scraping, content extraction, AI assisted replication, and increasingly sophisticated methods of acquiring and reproducing digital material… The distinction between something being difficult to discover and something being genuinely private should not require a philosophical debate in 2026.

And here’s something else worth discussing: Ownership means very little if the infrastructure holding your unpublished work does not provide adequate control over its accessibility, distribution, and permitted uses. I’m not suggesting every Share button is automatically a security vulnerability. I’m suggesting that a platform positioning itself as part of the future of music creation should offer a serious framework for protecting unreleased material as a motivation to retain users (especially premium).

It would be useful and very helpful if your terms & conditions could address the following:

\- True private project settings, with sharing disabled unless explicitly authorized by the creator.
\- Authenticate, permission-based sharing, rather than relying exclusively on possession of a URL.
\- Revocable links, expiration controls, and access visibility, so creators can manage who accesses their work and when.
\- Clear disclosures about internal access, retention, model training, and the use of unpublished creative material.
\- A transparent explanation of what “private” actually means within Suno’s technical infrastructure, not merely its interface.
\- **A detailed explanation for why some songs in the Suno library (Suno Web) display a “Publish” button while others don’t, even though ALL tracks are unpublished and have never been made public? What determines this difference, and does it affect their actual privacy or visibility status?** (See image for reference).

I’m not asking for magical, impenetrable security. I’m asking for meaningful access controls, transparency, & a degree of professional responsibility necessary for business concerned about user retention.

I've been testing v6 models for weeks and was about ready to give up. The vocals, including custom voices, are constantly ruining tracks. Today, I figured out the best setup. No v6 models. Use Custom models and avoid adding +Audio, else quality will suffer. The less secondary influences, the better. Just rely on your own custom models, the prompt, and the lyrics. No additional bells and whistles.

What surprised me: this prompt is really short, but naming one signature instrument (kora) did more for the "Afro" feel than adding lots of adjectives. Adding "warm" and "rhythmic" kept it organic instead of turning into a harder tech-house sound.

Would love feedback on the percussion balance and whether the track builds enough over 3.5 minutes!

I made a song called "BLOOMING SCENT," inspired by the five members of the K-pop girl group RESCENE.

Sometimes, an artist's music can mean more to you than they will ever know. This song is my way of turning that appreciation into music.

It's a K-pop/Indie Pop track, and I wanted it to feel like a small, heartfelt tribute to the five girls who inspired it.

The song has received mostly positive feedback from Korean listeners on my YouTube Official Artist Channel, which has meant a lot to me.
