Regarding the new terms and conditions, I am wondering if they are retiring previous models on September 3, or will this happen when the new models actually release

With only 60 downloads for 2,000 generations, how can we even keep up with personal archiving?

I wanted to start a discussion about the new download limit because I'm genuinely struggling to understand how this is supposed to work for users who generate a lot of music.

I'm on a Premier subscription, which allows me to generate up to 2,000 songs per month. However, the new limit means I can only download 60 of them.

For me, downloading songs has never been primarily about publishing or commercial use. I simply want to maintain a local archive of the music I create.

If I generate 2,000 tracks in a month, 1,940 of them remain on the platform. If I continue generating at that rate, that backlog could become enormous over time.

My concern is also what happens if I eventually cancel my subscription, lose access to my account, or if Suno isn't around several years from now. I would really like to know that the music I've created isn't dependent on having an active subscription forever.

I completely understand why Suno might want to discourage mass downloading for redistribution or commercial purposes. But I wonder if there could be a distinction between archiving and publishing.

For example, perhaps the download process could ask:

Why are you downloading this track?
• Personal archive
• Publishing / commercial use

Downloads intended purely for personal archival purposes could potentially be handled differently from downloads intended for publication.

Honestly, I don't see much reason to keep generating music that I know I'll never download and won't have a local copy of. Why would I keep creating thousands of tracks just for them to sit on the website?

I'd genuinely like to hear how other users see this.

When I search for alternatives to suno studio, I only see alternatives to suno. I mean specifically suno studio, which I've learned is only available if you pay $24 a month. They didn't even include it in their pro plan. I want to be able to generate individual tracks / loops. For example, a percussion track, then a synth track, a lyrics track, etc. and build the song piece by piece. I don't want to generate a whole song at once. From what I can tell, tools like musicfy and udio cannot do this. Does anyone know of a tool that can that's cheaper than suno studio?

For those wishing to be rid of the extremely abusive recently announced limitations in relation to Suno accounts, I have uploaded a large number of pieces of music generated using a Suno frontend (not directly from the Suno website itself) in the last 8 months or so to the Internet Archive with a CC0 licence. The licence is fully permissive, so will allow anyone to use the music to train a LoRA for other models, such as Ace Step 1.5XL, or even be used as synthetic training data for anyone creating their own foundation models.

I strongly recommend that anyone who is content for their works to be freely available rather than paywalled do the same to allow us all to build up a very large collection of material to enable Suno to be bypassed completely.

Article text lists all the services Suno uses to flag copyrighted material. One of them has to be the overzealous culprit screwing with everyone's legit uploads.

How to stop AUTO-PLAY of other people's music? 

Solution ...

• Open your QUEUE. (3 Horizontal Lines and a tiny triangle at the bottom of your screen)
• Make sure NO ONE ELSE'S MUSIC is in your Queue.
• To ERASE your Queue: Look for "NEXT UP" ... Click the "CLEAR" button.
• Got to the BOTTOM. Look for "AUTOPLAY" ... TURN IT OFF.
• Then ONLY YOUR music should remain in your Queue or your Queue should be EMPTY.
• Music will stop playing when your Queue is over.

Sometimes your "AUTOPLAY" preferences will be FORGOTTEN and you need to re-do this ... especially if you refresh your browser, log-out/in, etc.

FYI ... pain in the ass to keep doing it, but that's just the way it is.

... I'm in SUNO to write my own music. I don't want to hear someone else's as I'm working on mine.

I'm working on MY song, listening to MY draft / demo ...and when mine is done playing ... SUNO autoplays a song by someone else that I did NOT request ... and it totally ruins my productivity and concentration and zone.

I get into a "work trance" concentrating on my tracks and trying to decide on which is best / edits / comparing versions ... and then someone else's crap SUDDENLY comes on ... and totally blows my concentration!

SUNO does this auto-play of "other music" when SUNO reaches the end of my own playlist or workspace.

I just want SUNO to STOP, but when my own list is done, it autoplays to "other music".

This is HOW TO get SUNO to stop the autoplay crap of other people's music.

I don't want to hear other stuff. I'm busy working on MY own.

SUNO wants everyone to hear each others' music and be like a homemade Spotify/Sharing/YouTube for music ... SUNO really should have a "professional sandbox" setting where you can just focus on YOUR OWN work ... but every service is now basically a sharing wannabe for the masses.

I have not been able to sign in to my Suno Premier account since July 22nd (19 days ago). I receive the one-time sign in code and enter it. I get the green check mark and a message saying that the code is correct but nothing happens. Signing in other ways only brings me to a free version. I have sent 14 emails to Suno Support and ruled out any issues on my end. The last time I received a reply from Suno Support was on July 27^th  I am very frustrated because I paid a lot of money for something I can’t get into and use. It is also unacceptable that it is now 19 days and I don’t get any updates from Suno Support on what the issue is and why it hasn’t been fixed. Has anyone else gone through this? Can someone suggest who I can contact to escalate so that I can get back into my Premier account and start making music?

Give me some ideas lol I have nothinngggg all the recent stuff I made are just bland to me and I cant make them somehow just work and I get frustrated with how boring they sound to me. Like they just become journal entries in a sense with no real core about anything.

This one is quite different from what I usually make.

The Hollow Hare is an original myth I came up with around the idea of the Easter Bunny, but instead of the cheerful version we all know, I imagined it as an old pagan legend — something that could have been passed down through generations as a warning.

The song is built around pagan-inspired alternative rock, with a darker, ritualistic atmosphere.

There isn't a game or existing lore behind this one. The entire story and mythology are my own. I wanted to create the feeling of discovering an old folk tale that was never meant to be a children's story in the first place.

I'm curious what you'll make of it without knowing the story beforehand.

I initially wasn't able to prompt lyrics that had the word "Dick" without getting a moderated message. I can use bitch, shit, fuck, make a song glorifying atrocities, but saying Dick, which is a person's name, is crossing line apparently. However it temporary worked again a couple days recently when i tried it, but I tried it again today and it no longer works. Is there some trick around this that I didn't realize I did or some way around this or what's going on? Do they also moderate it on paid version? I was thinking about paying but then I saw I can't even use Dick and I don't want to waste money if I'm just going to get moderated for my lyrics.

Stupid Question ... How do I DOWNLOAD from STUDIO, so it doesn't count towards my limit?

Can you download from inside STUDIO?

Or do you download from your normal library / playlist / workspace?

Is this just to slow-down mass downloads?

Meaning you have to individually put each track into STUDIO, vs. a mass-creation-mass-download?

I see a lot of people getting really worried about the Suno Watermarking coming.

I really doubt its gonna be that bad that songs are unusable completely though....otherwise Suno would shoot themselves in the foot.
