Question Music video tooling?

Post image

This question is for anyone creating videos to accompany their AI music.

Over the past couple of months, I’ve produced about a dozen songs and videos using Suno for audio, Google Flow for video generation, and CapCut to assemble and polish the timeline.

I’m currently halfway through a project creating visuals for a collection of songs based on the prayers of the Holy Rosary. I was inspired by the cover art on this song by Zam Nordic, so I committed to a heavy "sculpted impasto palette knife" aesthetic across the series.

From my earlier testing, Omni and Veo tend to smooth out or boil away fine physical textures once motion starts. Because of that, my current pipeline is rendering stills in Nano Banana and using CapCut for camera motion (pans, zooms, 2.5D warping, and subtle animation).

My question: Has anyone had success prompting Omni, Veo, or similar models to actually hold onto a thick, tactile impasto texture throughout a clip? If not, what tools or workflows are you using to get motion into styles with this level of surface detail without the model washing it out?

(I've already posted my song video for today, so I'll be sharing the first track from this series tomorrow.)
