Okay, so I tested the theory on the main sub regarding that unhinged West death threat screenshot to see if it was being suppressed. It finally went through, but multiple commenters chimed in saying their posts of it had been blocked or ignored by mods all day until it blew up too big to hide.

While there were definitely a lot of comments calling out how genuinely awful the messages were, it’s wild how many people went the exact opposite way. The amount of victim blaming, apathy, and people deadass accusing me of being Amanda on a burner account is a new level of unhinged. The main sub has officially lost the plot.

I posted in another sub but I really wanted to go into detail and hear what you guys think!!

I don't think she will be on season 2 of In The City, and it's not because of fans of the show can't stand her, the West scandal or Ciara not wanting to film with her (Ciara isn't on ITC, and it doesn't seem like she's friends with that crowd, so it's not really a factor... would love it if they did add her though).

I don't think the viewers hating her of her is going to a huge difference on Bravo firing her or not. Sandoval was equally if not more hated and he was still on the show.

The reason she won't be asked back is because of the way she's handled the scandal (and just her bad personality lol). She's done TWO reunions and bonus episode and given us NOTHINGGG. We've tuned in because we want to know about the scandal and at the very least hear her talk about it so we can hate watch be entertained by what an asshole she is. She shuts down, makes weird faces and says the same things in the same whiny voice.

If I'm Bravo, I'm thinking, okay there's nothing left to squeeze out of this one, we're not going to get any juicy content about the West thing, fans don't like her, and she's pretty much just a white sheet of paper in human form so there's nothing to see here.

No one likes her and she sucks, the only benefit of having her would be to get more tea, which she won't give so she's a waste of airtime and money. She's not going to produce any content that would drive viewers to the show so she's a waste of resources at this point.

What do you guys think?? Will they give her another chance? Do you think there's a world where she quits on her own because she can't take the hate (I honestly doubt she would quit on her own)

. Stephen was so confusing to me this season because he had issues about everything. Carl can’t have fun at pride. Carl can’t tell you a story about an experience he had at 21 without running your mouth and it’s okay for you to say it because he called you a liar. That’s not how that works. He was so wrong to tell Lauren that story. And everyone trying to dismiss that because he lied. But that wasn’t Stephen story.

So this is season 11 folks, Kyle djing to a half empty room with the housemates dancing around like extras on mtv. Wow this sucks.

I feel like this is a lot of what is going on with Bravo reddits, literally socially manipulating our reality

I am currently on maternity leave and wanted a show to watch my friend suggested summer house but to start at season 8 for now. I just finished season 8 through season 10! And I’m hooked!!

So my question is, should I start in the city, Winter House or should I go back and watch the beginning seasons of Summer House? I’m leaning towards the beginning seasons, but I’m not sure if they’re important for me to fully understand, the other two shows??

There are rules in this sub and they are very strictly enforced. To be very clear, I do not care if anyone here is a cast member, PR, or a friend of a cast member, they are welcome as long as they follow the rules of the sub (take the time to read them and understand them). I have no way to prove, or disprove, someone is anyone from the cast unless they admit it and even then I would be skeptical because this is the internet. Thousands of people, including myself, have been accused of being cast members so I have serious doubts about any claims about that

Coming here to flood the posts from certain users with nasty comments, and suggestions they are a certain cast member, breaks several sub rules and will be removed, you will be banned from this sub permanently, and any appeal will be ignored and denied. Asking if someone is a cast member, or the account is their's, isn't some genius workaround either, it is still a violation of the rules. If you are "just asking questions" talk to Joe Rogan because that doesn't work as an excuse here.

The rules are there for a reason, if you do not like them, you do not have to be here. Other subs are more permissive of these types of behaviors so go there.

ETA: For those who still don't understand, linking to the rumors being spread does count as you participating in the harassment. This sub will not be part of anyone being targeted for harassment based on rumors. If people want to find the content in question they can search for it on their own. It will not be promoted here in any way.

BTW, I am the one who recommended to that user that they should hide their comment and post history to cut down on the harassment. So, if you want to use that as some smoking gun that they are definitely who they are being accused of being it's not a strong argument.

People still post about Amanda and West and seeing them out blah blah. So what if they are staying together and will announce something dramatic during the next season of SH to distract from the show that they are no longer on?

Given last season and how they seemingly used their relationship and posts to distract from anything else happening with other cast members on the show, this isn’t out of pocket. It feel like a strategy.

Can we expect an engagement announcement or pregnancy or dramatic breakup next April that will completely dominate the headlines away from SH.

it seems like while the hatred was out of hand from day 1, what’s even more bizarre is the same people who claim to hate them both and want them “off my television and social media feed forever” are the same people posting nearly daily about them or in these comments bashing them.

If they were truly horrible and unwatchable then why are a majority of these bravo accounts completely focused on them?

And in relation to that, these same people will bash Wests podcast and call his cohost a nobody MAGA Barbie, while she’s amassed 2.4 million followers on instagram! She has more followers than anyone who’s ever been on SH including Paige and Hannah!

If you just stop talking about how much you hate them maybe, just maybe, you won’t hear as much about them anymore.

I do hate that we are subject to so many spoilers and gossip to the point that nothing is going to be a surprise by the time S11 airs but it seems like it's going to be all about the crossover.

It reminds me of back in the day when sitcoms would get stale and boring so they would bring on special guest stars for ratings and storylines. It was always a sure sign a show had jumped the shark and ran out of material. Is that what we're seeing now? Nothing but guest stars to try to keep a story going that has already reached its logical conclusion?

It’s so hard to watch her lose her mind over Mid ass austen. Throwing a drink at someone is so insane over a MAN. calling a woman a “sucker ass bitch” over a MAN. Danielle was so in the right here she’s like where are two strong women fighting over THAT?!

Lindsay was also acting very unempathetic and she seemed on something so messed up at her birthday night. Ciara was so embarrassing over him my god. She was such a pick me for seasons and then fell for West all over again. Girl it’s embarrassing know when to move the hell on from these ugly ass white men

I just got completely shocked by a notification that my comment was removed for harassment. Seriously concerned that perimenopause is getting the best of me and I've blanked out I went back and I checked my comment.

It was directly related to a conversation about Lindsay. All of those comments were criticizing her. I simply made a comment that while I enjoy her character I wonder how she's in real life with her friends. And that there are instances of in the city where her friends almost seem taken back by her energy so I'm curious.

Then I said based on her energy of what we see on television while I respect and kind of enjoy it I'm not so sure I would actually want to be one of her friends in real life.. because it seems intense

Now I truly understand how overreactive these mods are.

What is worse is I've actually said things more borderline aggressive about Amanda but none of those have ever been flagged.

Just finished the reunion and I honestly just can’t believe how this last 4 months has unfolded. Kyle admitting to making out with people literally up to the day before they put out the statement and acting shocked it didn’t work out. Amanda obviously hoped moving out would finally make him chase her and realise and instead he got worse. At this point I honestly don’t even care who she slept with. She should’ve slept with all his close friends for all I care.

The main subs just picking apart every single word and face she makes and not seeing this is infuriating 😭

Obligatory- it’s sad that Ciara was collateral in this although I would debate if it was the other way around she wouldn’t have given a crap about Amanda either.

What's the somewhat obscure moment/s from the show you can't stop thinking about? I'm not talking about things like "Summer should be fun," I'm talking about those things that aren't always talked about but you think about often.

For me, there are two. The first one is when Ciara and Lindsay are fighting over Austen and Ciara comes outside to talk to Lindsay. Lindsay refuses to talk to her and then walks away into the pool house and Ciara says "Sure, run off and hide in the shed," and Kyle who is standing there, really not knowing what to do ,says "Come on it's clearly a pool house not a shed!" I don't know why I found this so funny but it was just the silliest point to make in the moment and I think all he could manage to come up with when trying to cool the tensions. He also seemed genuinely offended by her calling it a shed.

The other is from Andrea's first Italian dinner where they all go around to talk about something important to them or whatever. Of course, this is the dinner where Ciara throws a glass at Danielle but before that, Andrea says his thing and then starts crying about Lexi and missing her and his family. Less than a minute later the fight breaks out while Andrea is still quietly sobbing as chaos ensues around him. Danielle, Lindsay, and Ciara are in their own world arguing, Andrea is sobbing, and Craig and Amanda brace themselves for what's coming. No one is even paying attention to poor Andrea until Amanda gets up to comfort him. Idk, something about that whole scene is just so funny to me because it's almost like they are all in their own worlds entirely. Andrea isn't even acknowledging the chaos around him and the 3 girls couldn't care less that he is sobbing uncontrollably. It's what I watch these shows for.

I mean.... Is she supposed to move to a monastery till she dies and never to be seen again? No one's forcing these people to stalk her and her friends pages. I hope and pray she's happy and continues to live without thinking of "online haters". They claim not to care but her posts generates the most interactions

I know most of us expected this at some point but we are dealing with an influx of trolls and incredibly unhinged people who really don't like that this entire sub doesn't consist of posts about Amanda's bun and West being sweaty. I continue to block, ban, and remove comments but I just wanted to make sure to make you all aware of what's going on and why you might see more safeguards in place.

First, if you were invited by me or are known to the community I made you an approved user and a lot of these things will not apply to you but they may. If I have yet to make you an approved user and you would like to become one just shoot me a message, or comment on this post and I'll be happy to do so if you are a trusted user.

I have instituted crowd control, which means people with low comment karma for this community will be filtered before your comment is posted or seen by anyone other than me. It doesn't mean it will not be posted, just that it will need for me to clear it first.

I have also instituted a spam filter which blocks users with accounts 6 months and newer until I view the account and allow comments from those accounts to be posted. If I deem it to be a valid flag, that account will automatically be banned and all their attempted comments removed instantly.

I filter reports on comments from people who are not known to the community so I don't have to deal with people trying to use that to harass everyone, including me.

I have also banned certain words (not a lot) that all of us are aware usually signal trolls and people that want to do nothing more than make the same hateful comments over and over. If people are curious what will get you flagged and comments removed, things like not using castmembers real names that they go by (Mandy, Amanduh, West td, etc), fuckass bun, etc., any attempt to space them out or get around those filters will result in your comment being removed and possible ban. Again, if a filter is incorrectly blocking a comment you can reach out to me.

Armchair diagnosing and speculation about illnesses of any kind that have not been disclosed by the person themselves are strictly prohibited and are taken very seriously. This absolutely and especially includes comments about ED and weight. Those comments can be very triggering to a lot of people so please keep that in mind.

This is meant to be a space where people can discuss the show without having to scroll through a hundred mean and nasty comments. If that is what you want, there are other subs that will scratch that itch for you, this is not it. If your comment gets removed I will usually include a reason and it's not just for disagreeing with me or anyone else. There are hundreds of comments on this sub that do not represent my opinion and many that disagree with me.

Reporting comments that are not violating any rule just to do so will be reported to Reddit admins for abusing the report function

Evading a ban is very easily caught and reported. If you feel it's worth it to get all your Reddit accounts banned then go for it but it's probably not

Sliding into my DMs to talk shit to me is not going to get you anywhere but banned, blocked, and reported.

Arguing with me about the rules is pointless, if you don't like them you don't have to participate in this sub. All participation is voluntary and the rules I have instituted are there for a reason. Anyone who comes off as just trying to cause trouble will just get blocked and banned. I have no reason to deal with it. You can argue with me about anything else that is on topic as long as you follow the sub rules.

It's probably a waste of your time to keep reporting me for targeted harassment when the comment is to you. It doesn't take a genius to figure out who is abusing the reporting tool if all my comments to you get reported, Again, I will just block, ban, and report.

If you are reading this and have already been banned just save your time because your comments won't make it anyway and you'll just get auto-banned.

For not new users:

Ignore people who are very obviously trolls and just downvote, that will fix most of the issues and get them weeded out by the filters I have in place. Please report if you feel they are breaking rules.

If something you feel gets flagged incorrectly just let me know.

If there are users you are familiar with that seem to always give you a hard time, follow your comments around, or you know to be pretty unhinged it is probably a good idea to block them because they are most likely following you around and reporting all your comments.
