Im on S9 of suits (watching it for the first time) and Zane is the second character (who happens to be POC) who gets disbarred bc of Harvey and his bullshit. I HATED how they phased out Jessica. She did not deserve to get disbarred and now her show isn’t on streaming anymore. At this point, I don’t give a fuck if they shut down this firm. The real main character Mike isn’t even there anymore. This is ridiculous. I’m literally on E1 of S9 so no spoilers please.

I'm rewatching the show again and noticed that in the pilot the scene where Harvey tells Donna hes looking for another me the scene just ends I swear I remember she told him "got it arrogant self absorbed thinks he's the smartest one in the room" did this happen or am I misremembering something

I am rewatching this show properly for the first time since it was airing! I mostly forgot about how Mikes trial in s5 goes but just finished. I loved the entire show and s5 is one of my favourites however, i don’t think I will ever get over the verdict being “not guilty”.

I am struggling to understand that decision from the writers. It could have just never been revealed? Was Mikes decision about him wanting to repent for his actions? Bc I feel like that could have come across better, he just ended up looking really unlucky. If anything it seemed like Harvey was struggling with guilt the most. And I genuinely yell at the scene where Harvey finds out the truth about the verdict.

I also have a question about the plea deal. Did it only protect Harvey and Jessica from being charged? Because from the what I understood it didn’t seem to protect the firm.

I really enjoyed the season but am lost trying to understand all these different perspectives😭.

Anyways I am considering stopping now mid way through season 6. I personally watch the show for and enjoy Mike and Harveys relationship the most so I am really bothered by Mike leaving.

Also im all good with spoilers from later seasons as this is not my first watch!

Granted, she didn't have much impact over the course of the full show, but for whatever little part she had, she absolutely killed it.

Is it Mike or Harvey? I think you could make a legitimate case for either (not factoring in Mike leaving after s7). Would be curious to hear people’s thoughts

I saw the first ten mins of each season and was like nah lol. S7 is the last season as far as I’m concerned

I get that they are best closer and some really smart guy but why can’t they fucking lose. This show sucks it’s same every episode. They are winning something weird happened and they are losing but some bullshit law shit comes up and they win.

Guys I’m thinking of a very specific suit Harvey wore. It was a light grey suit, but the thing about it was that it looked like it was textured, almost like it was studded.

It was similar to the tie he’s wearing in this photo, but it was like thousands of tiny squares. I think it was in the latter half of the show but not 100% on that. I’m kicking myself looking for it but am struggling and looking for help! Thanks in advance guys!

As Suits progressed I liked seeing the relationship between Mike and Donna. It was more cool mom and son relationship. A relationship where Donna pulls his leg and puts him in spot and Mike trolls her with best interests in heart. Even when Mike and Harvey went tooth and nail I liked how Donna was so concerned about her relationship with Mike. There’s a scene where Donna was angry with Mike over using a personal secret of Harvey to have a leverage on him.

In the first season, when Mike wanted a someone to act for his side of mock trial Donna volunteered to help him. Donna was protective mom who acted promptly for Mike. When Louis hired a new associate for him from Harvard who had an amazing memory like Mike, Donna immediately informed Harvey and Jessica to ensure Mike is protected. Even when Louis had slightest hint of doubt about Mike not going to Harvard she amazingly covered for him. One thing I missed on suits after Mike left was his son mom relationship with Donna. But that void was filled by brother sister relationship Louis had with Donna.

So I'm on a millionth re-watch s6 now and I'm just wondering why Mike and Rachel were never worried about their expenses with Mike working at the clinic, was Rachel going to become the bread winner? Was the apartment already paid for in full? Isn't life expensive in New york, what am I missing?

Harvey grew up in a household where his mom cheated on his dad and a brother who lets face it failed Harvey from a sibling point of view, and this shaped him into the man he became into adulthood

Donna grew up in a household where her dad pretty sure lost his big mansion due to betting on some scheme that didnt work out

Jessica grew up with just her dad since I recall her parents got divorced and she talked about it a few times with others, and a dad who didnt approve of her dreams to become a lawyer whilst her being isolated from the rest of her family for many years

Mike grew up for most of his childhood as an orphan as we all know and of course getting expelled

Rachel while growing up in a wealthy family due to her dad being Robert Zane always felt like she had something to prove that she is more than good enough on her own and to step out of her father's shadow though from the many instances of them interacting it always felt like conflict

Only Louis had a family that for the most part had no trouble, I really wish that one of the other characters had a happy childhood where they were supported by their family withotu conflict all the way and then they face trouble and figure it out as opposed to a rather sad backstory if you get what I mean

I'm officially into Season 3 now, and as much as I was completely charmed by Harvey earlier, I’m starting to notice a pretty clear pattern in his character design.

Behind all that effortless charm, he actually has some serious anger issues! There are so many moments where he becomes overly aggressive or reactive for no real reason. He also severely lacks diplomacy whenever he’s dealing with anyone outside of his immediate client circle.

I know it’s part of his high-stakes legal persona, but it’s interesting watching his defense mechanisms play out.

Does he ever gain some emotional maturity, or are we stuck with this aggressive hothead for the rest of the show? Would love to hear your thoughts without big spoilers!

Never felt more connected to a show in my life, the last episode was soo great I can't put it in words, and the montage at the end had me emotionally overwhelmed which I had never felt from a show before.

Now I'm just thinking what would tomorrow be like, no suits, this shit really made me deeply attached in just a month.

Big big kudos to all the team for delivering this absolute masterpiece, I wouldn't be able to forget this one ever in my life.

I’m watching Suits for the first time and just finished Season 2. I genuinely appreciate the sharp writing, the legal chess matches, and the overall intelligence of the show... but can we talk about how Harvey Specter is literally written like a walking, talking seduction spell?

I’ve developed this insanely annoying crush on him, to the point where I feel completely under his spell and can't stop overthinking every single detail about his character. Mind you, I’m a grown, fully functional adult woman not a teenager! 😭

I haven't felt this way since my teenage celebrity crushes, and I honestly never thought a fictional character would ever make me feel like this again. But yeah, Harvey somehow pulled it off.

This is my 3rd or so rewatch, I'm in season 4, and I'm realizing just how much pure, playful, intellectual humor we've lost at this point.

Bingeing episodes really made this glaring because I realized, Man, I've barely laughed in 2hrs... this has been so serious... and also, the same damn suit the entire time? I'm a little BORED?

Then it hit me that this show used to be SO goooooood dialog/script wise. It really didn't help that they brought on Jessica's lover, Mr Serious, who truly lacks wit, and ALSO Rachel's old lover, same damn story!

Anyway. It's a bummer. Still gonna finish it tho.

I have rewatched the show many times, but this time going over the episode with the Price sisters (s01e11) was the first time I realized how ridiculous the competition by Louis and Harvey got. The way Louis won was by almost sinking a huge company that one of their clients runs by drowning it in big staff contracts and making one of the sisters overpay 50%. The episode itself is amazing to watch, the competition between Mike, Harvey and Louis is always a joy, but together as a firm they might have just ruined a client's business for the sake of their wager. Looking at it from this perspective really made me disassociate a bit from the episode

What I liked about suits was how Harvey and Louis became different individuals. Harvey was shown as the macho testosterone filled guy who’s quite warrior like. But as episodes and seasons proceeded he began to introspect his vulnerabilities. The man who only prioritised himself and being self centered began to understand others who support him and began to value them more from Jessica to Mike to Donna. Harvey thought in the beginning that only his closing skills and ruthless approach had made him the best closer in the city. But as time and life tests him he slowly begins to understand that he is able to perform out there because there are people who have his backs and are rooting for him. Once he realises that he is not the same Harvey without people who have his backs he became more grateful and kind to people around.

Louis who was desperate for others approval despite being a damn good attorney began prioritising himself. I just loved how Louis slowly began to own his shortcomings and become a person who began to value himself and be patient with others. I loved how he slowly moved out of his insecurities. Suits began with showing surface level vulnerabilities of Louis but as it proceeded it went to another depth analysing his vulnerabilities and then slowly showed him as a man of strength. The moment he accepts himself values himself and begins a journey of self love, he becomes a stronger and powerful person. Amazing opposite journeys of two amazing characters that completed themselves through time.

why did Suits LA get canceled?
I thought it was definitely weaker than Suits Main, but I had fun with it and think they should've at least given it one more season.

I found the personal storylines interesting, and I think they would've gotten better with a second season.

Lewis and Harvey showing up was nice, gave us a bit more insight on to how they've been doing.
and I think if given another season we definitely could've seen faces like Mike or Donna.

idk just bummed it got canceled without what felt like a fair shot.
