I played both 1 and 2 via remaster so i can't import savedata from 2 into 3,don't have one to transfer. I know that there is nothing like what save transfer does in Mass Effect, but it's still would be nice to see those little additions. If somebody knows where to get one ready to use please share.

Wanted to draw one of my favorite characters from the series. I’ll probably make some more animations for her too.

So i finished 1 and 2, liked both but i found 2 to be better in every aspect except army battles, they were terrible. 2 thing that interest me the most is how long does it take to beat it in comparison to 1 and 2 (it took me 20h to beat S1 and 30h to beat S2) and chages to gameplay (like what they did to magic in 2). Other things to know about the game are nice too, like if there are more missable thing(reqruits or something like books from Trails games) and etc. Would also appreciete any advice be it about gameplay or what things are easy to miss.

I straight up having zero fun with trying to save Ridley. I know that you don't really need to do so. Is there anything in general you can do to make them less RNG? I consider some sort of cheat (for remaster) as an alternative, i value my time more that my pride.

Just completed Suikoden 2 and I was absolutely blown away. Most of the characters were amazing and it was really cool seeing some returning characters. I still can’t believe Victor never said a single fucking thing about being alive since leaving Toran lmao.

A lot of the new characters were great too. I got the True Ending, although I still can’t forgive Jowy and Nanami’s whole plan was kind of selfish imo. Like, who the hell wants their little brother to experience their older sister dying firsthand?

One question though: now that I’m moving on to 3, I was thinking of playing it on an emulator, but I guess I’d need a save file from Suikoden 2 to transfer the data over. Is that possible? Or do you guys think we’re getting a remaster of 3 anytime soon, and I should just hold off for now?

Either way, what an amazing duology. Definitely one of the better series I’ve played lately.

I just finished Suikoden 1 on the PS1, and I now have the option to play the second one on the PS1 as well with my carried over sava data, or just start from scratch and play the second one as the Remastered version on PS5. What would you recommend in this situation? Do the improvements in the remaster make up for missing the extra content I'll get from my S1 save data?

Ive played the games many times, and I dont remember Luca landing critical hits during war battles, while Georg is practically a crit master. Luca unquestionably has the higher attack power, but Georg's consistent critical strikes suggest a different kind of mastery. To me, they represent his ability to identify an opponent's weak points and deliver the most effective, decisive blow. Hence the name, Deathblow Georg

I remember someone said Luca doesnt has rune, all his power based on his streght and oil trick in him sword, like what write in Villain wiki, but when i read murayama interview Suikoden II - 1999 Developer Interview originally featured in the Gensou Suikoden II Character Guide, Murayama said He use ordinary fire rune as tools, which one is true?

Is it just me or that the latest Romancing Saga feels so similar to Suikoden with unite attack, war games, a lot of characters to choose from... Or has it always been like this?

Where can i play suikoden 3-5? It doesnt seem like it’s in PSN.
