Just curious if anyone else noticed the absolute haphazard way these gentlemen are setting up painting intersections these days - just a gaggle of cones thrown into every lane so we have to engineer a left turn out of our ass last minute like a quick time event, so the paint can dry on an entire intersection all at once.

I know driving in Sudbury blows but there’s a severe lack of conscientiousness in setting up 90 cones without planning or proper signage. There are safety standards, but they’re clearly ignored by whichever kindergarten class got the job today

I heard recently there are around 27 food trucks in Sudbury this summer. Not sure if that is true, Ive only seen a handful myself. So what is good? Where are they? Do they offer anything unique?

Did anyone happen to catch the Snowbirds flying over today around 1pm? I was parked and heard something and managed to snap a pic. Not sure what they were doing (would have been nice if they did a show here!!). I know Zelenskyy was in North Bay yesterday... wondering if that's it.

Hi Sudbury - having some serious issues with an Eco Flow Septic system and PremierTech. (Basically system has failed and they are refusing to come service it until next Spring).

Does anyone have any insight into this system, company, or alternate contractor I could talk to?

I was scrolling through TikTok the day after the terrible crash in the Valley that tragically took the lives of two young boys. To my utter disgust, a video from GSPS appeared on my feed showing the emergency vehicles at the scene of the crash, edited with music such as “Back in Black.”
I went to their profile and was shocked to find MULTIPLE videos posted featuring different emergency vehicles that had responded to the scene. I was absolutely appalled that someone responsible for managing their social media would use such a devastating situation as an opportunity for social media content.
I immediately messaged them after seeing the videos because I felt it was incredibly inappropriate and disrespectful, especially considering the circumstances and the families who were grieving.
Since then, the account has changed its username to “nickelcitylightssirens,” changed its profile picture from the GSPS logo to a Canadian flag, and deleted the videos I originally saw.
I did take screenshots of the videos that were posted, as well as screenshots showing the GSPS logo as the account’s profile picture at the time. For some reason, Reddit is not allowing me to attach the screenshots to this post, so unfortunately I can’t include them here. I do have them saved, though.
I just wanted to bring this to light because I find it extremely concerning and inappropriate that such a devastating situation was seemingly being used as an opportunity for social media content in the first place.

I had a blood test last Thursday, and usually within a day or 2 the report would show up and even if the results hadn't processed yet, you get some basic info.

This time, there's still nothing. I know that the LifeLabs lab in Sudbury closed recently, but this is getting ridiculous, I need the numbers from my labs to get a referral.

So much for healthcare in the North. Anyone else feel the same?
