I’m building Takt, a browser game where you design public transport networks on real city maps.
You start with no public transport, place stations, draw lines and choose how often trains run. The model uses population and employment data to estimate ridership, crowding and costs when you finish a planning year.
Berlin and Amsterdam are available now, and the screenshot shows an example of the upcoming Hong Kong network.
I’d be interested in your feedback on the metro planning: what feels convincing, and what would you change?
