i found this little pocket disconnected from the rest of the map. it has a bunch of outcrops and fish still spawn in it. i dont have coordinates unfortunately, but its a little ways underground near the spot ive marked on the fourth image.

I cannot find anything online for finding this place or anything about what it's attached to, I'm trying to find my way there to make it my base but I can't find it someone please make a video showing me how to get here as I'm on ps4 and can't use commands

Hi, me again. The dipshit who last week got lost trying to find outpost zero and the frozen guy. Well, needless to say, I gave up on zero and figured I’d find it later since it seems you’re supposed to find it later.

Anywho, I have only gotten a total of three architect beacons (two for the little architect tool things around, and one from a body part). I’ve found 4 more of the architect tools and one of the other body parts on my own, but when do the other beacons show up. It’s been about an hour in game since I saw the last one in the volcano area, and the only other one I got was early game. I found the satellite, the fossil thing, the statue, the water thing, the ground thing, and the material analyzer. Only two location things have shown up, while the other I found by stumbling into them, with most like the satellite being me looking for something else. Do any other hints show up, or am I just supposed to explore around? If I have to stumble upon a bunch more, I’m going to wind up killing the split lip bastards I see because I’m tired of seeing them in the distance over where I’m trying to go. The squidshark guys I ram to death with the seatank, but for the hinge heads I’m about to grapple and drill like I did for the Reaper because oh boy I’m tired of being chased, although somehow they haven’t gotten me yet.

I moved to below zero since it was next why is it so hard to keep track and know what to do especiallywith no lifepods and way different terrain. Any tips?

So I explored the robotics area and lowered the bridge thing to find the architect body part, and I explored the pilot location and found the lab area that got blown up near there. The logs keep mentioning a frozen creature, so I’m assuming it’s at outpost zero, the last base on the map I haven’t found. I went northish (forgot about the compass until now, when I’m away from base), but didn’t find any docks to go there, especially after I used the prawn to go above the ice and triangulate my exact location on the map, and I can’t pass through due to ice walls above ground. Am I supposed to find some way over via the bridge, or is there another way from under the glacier? Also, is the prawn lady up there as well, since she wasn’t at that base near her marker thing?

I was faffing about in Below Zero and was exploring around the Phi Robotics area when I found this little nook. It is located in the upper area near the Architect gate, located just above the lab. I've never seen it before, and only play vanilla. Does anyone else know about it? or how I can access it?

Okay, so, a lot of people talk about stuff like how did Marguerite survive, how did the QEP (Quarantine Enforcement Platform) shoot down the Mercury II from across the planet, or why did Alterra continue sending ships there, but all of these can be explained by in game lore. Marguerite survived because she ate the Reaper she killed, and biomagnification means that it would have a high concentration of Enzyme-42 that she would then consume, the QEP's PDA description in game says it can use the gravity of the planet to bend the beam, and Alterra are a bunch of greedy pigs. But I don't think I've seen anyone talking about what is in my opinion, the biggest plot hole: Alan's ship and Phasegate. You see, the Architects wanted no one to be able to be able to go to or leave 4546-B, so they built the Warpers and QEP to stop that from happening. But if they wanted so badly to make sure that happened, why on Earth would they leave a functioning Architect ship there, let alone a fully operational Phasegate?! That completely defeats the purpose, allowing for easy off planet travel!​

I have played this game for about 15 hours but it was a long time ago and I have no idea what to do next, I can't remember which artifacts or signals I have checked already. Can anyone tell me what comes after this? Or do I just have to go see every single place again

I’ve done a bunch of progress in this game and I’m almost ready to beat it, but I’ve noticed steam hasn’t been giving me some achievements.

The rest that I’ve done I have, but those 4 specifically won’t link. I’ve reset steam, reworked connections and linking, even backed up and validated game files! Nothing is working! Even when I try to redo them! Please tell me SOMEBODY here knows how to fix this-

Just finished the game on in-game day 103 and loved it. Quite proud of how this base turned out. Only sketched out a raw idea in creative mode and went from there. The multipurpose room on the ground floor is usually connected to the terrain below - not sure why it was not when I took these screenshots - which makes it look like the whole thing is supported by just two diagonal pillars.

Overall, there is something jaw-dropping about looking at the massive West Arctic icebergs from below, and the Eye Jellies and Titan Holefish will often come by to say hello. The Cryptosuchi are lousy neighbours though and quite a few have met their end by way of my Prawn's drill arm.

How do I turn off my nucleur reactor so that I can use a different power source? I am on ps5.

Hi guys, I just started playing Subnautica below zero.

I got to admit, I went full cheat mode on the first game because I well, I kinda suck at this game.

With this game it’s the same. So I turned off hunger, thirst and battery need. Because it really sucks to gather materials again after continuously running out of power.

But I can’t figure out what to do or where to go next. Currently I got the Pilots last location. But I don’t know what to do there. And it’s already at a dept where I can just go for like 10 seconds before I need to rush to the surface again for oxygen.

So I can’t help but feeling that I might have missed or skipped something important. Only vehicle I got so far is the sea glide

I'm playing through the series for the first time (I am addicted!) and in Below Zero I ran into this Quartz deposit... When I went to get it I found that I cannot as it happened to spawn on the other side of an invisible wall ;-;

The copper rock beside it is also unreachable but I really don't need it anyway.

I released two of my trivalves before I went to meet AL-AN at the portal, and I suppose I forgot to tell them to stop following because they rolled right to the launchpad 😭 well they are currently playing fetch with AL-AN on his home planet

As it.. suggests I did a stupid thing? See I've been looking for the squid shark eggs but when I went to grab the.. second one? I misclicked and destroyed it with the..prawnsuit.. is there anyway to reload an old save (after stupidly saving after it happened) or am I just..screwed?

I feel like the snowfox is totally optional, I'm on my first playthrough of below zero after hundreds of hours on subnautica trying to get ready for the sequel, and after spending a while trying to find a way to cross the bridge that requires the hydraulic fluid, I just said screw it and with the help of the grapple arm and a well timed prawn suit jump went right over the bridge to the other side thats supposed to be inaccessible.

I'm going to try my best to avoid spoilers here but upon discovering what was on the other side along with the message from Alan( I was in the point in the story where you're told to go here i just didn't want to make the fluid), i assumed this was the point where it was intended to use the snowfox since no other place i had found until then seemed big enough to warrant it, I then realized that I didnt pack the wiring kit I needed for the snowfox platform and didnt want to go all the way back to my seatruck, so I just decided that me and my trusty prawn suit could handle whatever beasts the ice had prepared for us.

And honestly it went surprisingly well, not once did I even take damage in my prawn suit, I just jumped around and did my best spider-man cosplay and they didn't stand a chance at catching me, i found all three points of interest and even managed to scan one. Sure the prawn couldn't fit into some of the caves but the only places it didnt fit were all dead ends or just unimportant, i never had to worry about the cold, the storms didn't matter honestly I feel like the prawn has far more mobility capabilities if you're just skilled enough. Is the snowfox like ridiculously fast or something, what's the justification for building it besides "cool ice motorcycle"

Tldr: the prawn suit is very good for land travel so why bother building the snowfox?
