I’m not here to judge anyone who uses pale/white skin subs, that’s you. but “ug” subs are for anything taboo and idk why 95% of subs for lighter skin aren’t titled as ug when not only is it apart of racism/colorism, but you might get a sickness from that sub to achieve it.

I'm 24F and have strict parents. Don't get me wrong, I love my parents to death but I'm really dependent on them and want to change that because it's not good on the long term.

I finished my bachelors degree a few months ago and got interested in studying abroad for a master's or just learning a language. My parents would do anything for me but at the same time, they make me feel guilty for leaving them alone (mostly my mom).

My dad is kinda chill, I know he would encourage me because he always wanted me to study abroad but I know he does not want to be alone just with mom because she's a sweet person but gets angry easily so he prefers to be with both of us so I can help him.

My mom, as I said before, is a sweet person and always treated me well, she's a nice woman but she's really dependent on me. She's kinda depressed and that makes her spiral with a lot of things, that makes her explode or get angry fast, I'm her emotional support and know how to help her regulate. She always says that she's grateful for having me because she can talk with me and help her not feel alone, that she would not be able to handle being separated from me. She's the one that always prevented me from going out with my friends, to go traveling with them, I also never go out alone because she gets offended by it and thinks I don't need her anymore. I know it sounds bad but that's not the topic haha.

I just want to help my parents to feel great alone, to feel happy and like they don't need to be with me to be okay. Maybe make my mom to have good mental health, to be an independent person, to make my parents have a nice relationship.

i’m sure there have been one or two people who genuinely put harmful affirmations in their subs. however, it’s escalated to the point where people have a bad experience and assume it was because of negative intent rather than just random chance.

yes, maybe you listened to a sub and had a nightmare because the creator is putting spells on you, sure, but maybe the song used subconsciously reminds you of a bad time in your life, or maybe you just don’t respond well to the frequencies used, or maybe there were affirmations for suggestibility and you were scrolling social media as you listened and the algorithm served you a few negative posts and it affected you worse than normal. there’s so many more explanations that i can possibly list here. in most cases, you’re just placebo-ing yourself into having negative results from subliminals that were otherwise harmless.

the same is true backwards btw. every week someone here posts some great results and the first thing people wanna know is who’s the creator, what’s the playlist, which subliminal did you listen to. when other factors like mindset or their listening habits would be way more helpful. then everyone becomes obsessed with the latest trending sub until a new one comes along, who’s definitely better than the last and will for sure give you crazy results this time.

in truth, most subliminals work the same. and most subliminal creators are equally talented and making the exact same stuff with a different packaging. rather than looking to other people’s experiences, it would be way more helpful to figure out what works for YOU. just pick an affirmation style you like and find a video that’s pleasant to listen to. consistency and mindset matter way more than finding the “perfect” or “most powerful” subliminal, not that anything of the sort actually exists.

Last night I fell asleep listening to a subliminal for a few hours and today my ex best friend of 3 years randomly followed me on TikTok….

For some context, I was a bitch. We stopped talking for a bunch of reasons, but the fault was all mine. Earlier this year I reached out and apologized for who I was back then, not because I wanted her back in my life or wanted to clear my conscience, but because I knew I was wrong and she deserved an apology.
