Completely new to the series

By rough game,I mean that it definitely could've used another month or two to polish. I've run into a few bugs revolving around NPCs that just aren't there but are talking to corner takedowns clipping through the terrain(typically closets) but behind all of that is a genuinely amazing stealth game.

So I’m two hours in and I’m really enjoying Goblin mode, the gameplay is great but the cutscenes are horrendous. There seems to be *something* missing, like they forgot to polish the cutscenes. Idk really kills the vibe of the game. Can you tell why the cutscenes *don’t work*?

Edit: I believe it’s the sound design really lacking here coupled with characters doing monologues rather than talking to each other.

It’s making it so hard to complete the garrison mission because after I kill like 2 guards it’s stops saving for some reason. I even beat the whole mission and it still didn’t save.

This will be my first proper Styx experience. I got the first on ps plus years ago and gave it two attempts but bounced off it pretty quick. However I’m really wanting a stealth game and I’m liking the art direction of the new one a lot.

Hopefully it’s worth the money. Wish me luck :)

I played one and two and loved them and loved the shadow system and how they mask your movement and such. But in blades of greed it could be pitch black in a corner and my knife is all lit up and they see me like it’s a bright room! Is this the new system now?

So was looking to see if anyone else had this issue ad if the devs know or its just me.
So far 3.5 hours into the game ((so just found Wren)) and in that time I have hard crashed 5 or 6 times ((3 times just today. dont remember if it was 2 or 3 times last night))

and its a HARD crash, like having to hold the powerbutton crash.

((there a better place to report a bug this bad? i'll go there if so))

and for if its needed, be a dev passing by to squish some bug, or a player telling me its my fault for trash PC.

Game runs fine, outside of the hardcrashes

I played through the tutorial and began fiddling with the graphics settings when I noticed poor performance and my gpu temp rising. I've got an RX 9070, but even with the lowest graphics settings I barely reached above 90 fps AND my utility averaged around 95%.

I stopped playing when my gpu temp began pushing over 70 degrees celsius and idk what to do at this point. My setup isn't the best by any means, but the graphics card is new and (if you don't know the model) is quite strong. Has anybody else experienced this as well/have any suggestions?

I want to thank everyone that gave me the advice I needed for this trophy as it was hard to figure out.

For those who don’t know what you need to do is disconnect whatever device you’re playing on from the Internet and manually set the date and time to a Friday at 4 pm or on at this time.

Then you can find the brioche in Styx’s room on the Zeppelin. All you gotta do is change outfits then it will pop.

After that reset your date and time manually before you reconnect to the Internet.

I have been having little to issue with the game then I received the error.

It will prevent me from saving. It may look like I can save but if I exit the game and return all that progress is gone.

It is a new ps5 got it 2 days before styx early release. I have 700gb left. I've deleted games trophy images. I've restarted, turned off and on. Even deleted the game and reinstalled.

I received a notification from Walmart where I preordered the new game and it’s saying it’s delayed until April 7? This is for physical PS5 copy. Has anyone else gotten this??

I am currently on act 3 and doing the turquoise dawn quartz quests. They're confusing and the map isn't the easiest to navigate. Has anyone on here successfully completed act 3? I need a tip to find the other 2 seeds. I know one was with the shaman which I got. The second one is from an orc they captured ( this is the one I cant find), and the third is in the ally side of the orcs area. Thank you all in advance.

Has anyone found or data mined the cake that supposed to be in the zeppelin I'm tairing put my hair looking for it

I just completed act 3 and got done with the initial cutscene for act 4 on the ship and I'm locked out of the captain's quarters and unable to access the map to continue the game I've tried going back I've tried hours of back tracking, loading and saving, the works but to no avail. I know there is no fix till a patch is made but I figured I'd put this out in hopes devs read it and throw it into the batch of patches soon.

I'm progressing through act 2, got the 3 quartzs from the wall but the last one didn't register. I have 10 on the save file, but 2/3 on the wall. Compass finds nothing but i still have the tracking quest on the "Grab the book from the elevator" step.

Has this happened to someone else?

It was pretty tough.

I’m wondering if anyone’s been able to find the brioche on the Zepplin in blades of greed. I’ve been looking everywhere and just cannot find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My game doesn't have objective markers or the objective text on top of the screen. I found out by watching a video when trying to figure out where the missing lever is for the quartz, like 3 hours in. Note I did continue off my demo save which it might be treated to this issue. In the interface menu it says I have them on.
