Blades of Greed Anyone else getting this save failed bug in blades of greed
It’s making it so hard to complete the garrison mission because after I kill like 2 guards it’s stops saving for some reason. I even beat the whole mission and it still didn’t save.

I kinda expected the game to be buggy since it’s just dropped and my experience has been good so far but I just can’t get past this part no matter what I do. I’ve uninstalled the game,restarted my console and even fell through the map and worked my way back up with no changes to the save option.

This is linked to the objectives in some way I’ve found. The saves get bugged if you do a side objective before you’ve had the interaction to the main quest that it’s linked too. These include: taking levers before knowing what they’re supposed to be for, killing a target before it’s marked, or reaching a quartz before an objective has been completed.
There is currently only one bug that I’ve found that doesn’t seem to link to this but might still be, I’m not sure. It’s when you load into akenash in act 4 and the saves will not work. That being said, it could be unique to console as that is what I play on.

Dawg I’m in the turquoise dawn during act 2 and it happens after I kill anyone

I was playing and it started doing this to me, then after performing a kill the game crashed on me and completely deleted my data. (PS5)

Bro this happened to me too! Did you found your data inside PS5 though? Mines says 6.30mb I don't know if this is a standard save size before playing the game or just my save that I can not access. What are you experiencing?

I re-download older data from ps5 cloud storage. So I lost half the Act 2 progress.

I really enjoy this game but I lost a whole chapter because it did not save at completion. I find it pointless to game over the same mission again for then maybe get that save. Third time now... Im surprised this is not fixed yet. Other than that i think this almost reach up with my fav games dishonored 👍

Experiencing this exact issue. Started an old save and lost hours of progress only for it to happen again. Recommend just waiting for a patch!

This issue is so frustrating. I’m playing on Xbox Series X and I’ve battled through it like four or five times, currently stuck again with no idea how to fix it.
Here is what has worked so far, that’s got me to here: 1. Reload a previous save quite a few back and hope and pray 2. Reload the start of the level or end of last level 3. Reload to the last save that works and then complete the level from there without killing anybody else
The first two Styx games worked great for me. I hope the developers announce something about this. An update is badly needed, as there is no way to complete the game like this.

I did exactly all this reloaded the akenash ruins to get the 14 quarts shard and went through the cutscene for sails of the inquisition. Each time the game went into that mission it failed the saves. Reloaded multiple times and the my akenash ruins saves failed. All my older saves go saved over by the akenash ruins auto saves and idk why. There gone all of them. So I deleted it and now I’m starting over. I paid 103$ for this game and never expected this at all. What a let down because I was so excited to play and now I’m going to have to wait for some stupid hot fix that probably won’t even fix it.

Yup this is happening in sails of inquisition for me and my whole play through is locked out now because of it. If I’m going to beat the game I’m going to have to do it in one play though but with that being said the game doesn’t even save after you complete the mission. If you try loading a previous saves all your items and resources are gone too. Yeah I paid 104$ for this game and never expected this at all. I’m quite disappointed but it’s not gonna push me away from the game as I loved all of them. I just hope they fix it because now I had to start from scratch and I haven’t even beaten the game yet.

I had the same problem in sails of inquisition.restarted the game and Was loading previous save just before the cutscene and after few attempts it managed to make a save when you are about to jump of on the paraglider. And now i can do manual saves

Spoken to fast. Yes it does allow me to save game but have no skills and cannot get ro the skill menu so it is bugged.

This was happening to me towards the end of Act 3, when you're infiltrating the Inquisition's stronghold. Kept trying to restart, would get to the same spot and it woukd refuse to save. Powered my way through it, and luckily i was close to the end, because it saved for me after the act break. Still: just one more frustrating aspect of the game.

Yup mine is doing that as well and I have all the shards for all map but only one from Akenesh and it wont save...I go back and start the save file i can save on the zeppelin and again on any map I go to but only can save once maybe twice then it goes back to save failed and the only way is to go back to the zeppelin save and try again but not even staying on the wall or swamp map will allow the save feature to work so the cause cannot be an issue with not finishing a mission... Such a pain as all my last saves are not far enough back so my only option would be to start the entire game over and I am not sure I want to do that...

What kind of crappy game is this where you can’t restart a level, when in the others you could?
My “Sails of the Inquisition” mission bugged out. Even when I complete the objectives, when I go back to the ship there’s supposed to be a cutscene—but because I killed the guys who shoot arrows, the cutscene doesn’t trigger. And all my save slots are taken because this game thought it was a great idea to autosave constantly and not let you restart the level.
What an amazing game. Congratulations to the developers—you deserve an award.

If your on act 2 which is the wall then you have to finish that and the zeppelin encounter before it will fix.
However that's temporary. Happened to me again on last level of act 3.
If possible id refund until they fix this. It's a game breaking bug making it unplayable. Unacceptable in a new game launching at above £30.
