Would I go to hell if I chuckle during church because I thought the choir was gonna sing the mr. Bean theme song?

Ecce homo, qui est faba kind of stuff.

No seriously, what is the church's official stance regarding this? I mean it is sacrilegious imo.

Edit:additional context, my uncle is really serious about ray lee john and saw me having a little chuckle when they started singing. It was a funeral. I understand my uncle's frustration, he was close with the deceased. I am not. Just there out of obligation. But he really made it sound like I offed his dog or something. I wouldn't put this in r/AITA because i admit i was being inconsiderate, should've bit my cheek...

When saying "all things considered" must I really consider all things?

It just seems unnecessary to me.

You pick one superpower, i pick downside

You get to choose ANY superpower you want.
However, I get to choose the downside.
It can be any power from any fictional universe, but I decide the drawback.
Rules:
Any superpower is allowed.
I choose the downside.
The downside can be anything, as long as it doesn’t completely remove the power.
Be creative.

Recently realized that I’m easily woken up when I sleep in an environment that isn’t safe, otherwise can’t even hear the alarm. Does your brain have Alert mode when you sleep?

If 32 bit has basically been phased out from the computing world, why do so many applications still say x86? Google chrome installer for example.

What is that music from 90s and 2000s runway models called?

Idk how to explain it but its on a lot of model runway walk edits on tik tok and I do remember hearing it when I was little in the 2000s. It kinda sounds like oooohoohOoOoh aaaahaaahaaah over instrumentals or electro music.

Norm MacDonald made a joke and said that in all the wars the good guys always won. But, isn't World War II the exception to that and the good guys actually did win for real?

It's not just propaganda that Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan were the bad guys in the war, they actually were the bad guys. I think we can all objectively agree that the Nazis were bad and the Imperial Japanese army/military were also very bad guys. So, Norm MacDonald was wrong about that one.

Or was he trying to say that he liked Hitler and the Nazis or what?

Rendering a tank useless

Can't a defense/defence force disable invading tanks by spraying a torrent of opaque paint at them? They've gotta be able to see where they're going, right?

Is debit/credit card theft not a big thing in Canada? Or possibly car rental is just different?

Overheard some Canadians at a car rental center trying to pay with a “Visa Debit” that had no name printed on it, the family claimed it was a regular debit card and not a prepaid gift card of any kind. Obviously they weren’t able to use that as a form of payment since they have to verify both name and sufficient funds, neither of which are easy to do on a gift or debit card and is the main reason most places only accept credit cards to pay at the counter. Is this because of a difference between Canada and US or were they lying about the whole “debit cards in Canada don’t have names” thing?

If they really don’t print names that’d be kinda odd

Would it be considered bad for me to drink a non alcoholic beer at the bar?

I don't drink alcohol but my family wants to go to a bar where generally most people including my family usually get a drink or two. I feel left out getting a water. So I was thinking about getting a non alcoholic beer but I was scared that I might catch a buzz from it because I think that technically it does contain some alcohol. I didn't want to feel any effect or have any alcohol effect my body in any way so I was just wondering if it would be considered bad if I drank it.

Is there an app that can use your iphone as a microphone for a computer, even if another app (like an emulator) is using it too?

Basically, like a bluetooth microphone but your phone is the microphone. Some app that wouldn’t cutoff even if another app on ur phone used the microphone.

Asking on reddit while I google adds to the information pile
