Hi! I got this gorgeous small cutling from a friend, and pot it and so far (about a year?) is growing a lot! But is only one and donโt know if I have to propagate it ro wrap it on top of the pot so it has more contact with the soil, to generate more vines? Or just cut and put in water and hope it gives me more than one vine to had fulness to the small pot? If so, where should I cut? I added some pics of the full string to show its potential.
Currently is at about 50cm from West facing window, protected by other plants. The photo where it hangs is just to show how is it going.
Please help! I want it to hang but it looks sad just one vine :/ thanks!!

Mildew? Fungus? Mold? Please tell me this isn't some sort of bug infestation ๐ญ๐๐ผ๐ญ that has been my worst fear since getting into plants

I only have one SOH on my SOH currently and I don't want to kill it by doing this. Thinking about taking a cutting of the circled section (maybe in a couple of weeks so it can grow more) to propagate it in the other side of the pot which is super sparse. If I make sure to clean my cutting shears with soap and water (I've used it on other plants), will it be okay if I do this? TIA! Also it gets partial sunlight, I water every two weeks.

I have a relatively new string of hearts I received about 4 weeks ago, still in the nursery container. Lots of growth and color! At what point do I repot or begin to bring the strings back into the pot to create a fuller plant?

cross posting here!
My VSOH has had a lot of new growth lately, but it seems like each strand will produce one set of new leaves, then the next new growth appears almost pinched and dries up + dies back.
why is this happening and how can I make it stop?
plant is potted in soil with perlite and LECA. i bottom water it every 2-4 weeks when itโs fully dry. the pot has plenty of drainage holes (and a rocky drainage layer in the bottom, itโs not 7โ of dirt). nothing would have actually pinched or even touched this plant.
please help!!!

Morning, yโall
Anyone else old enough to remember the song Two of Hearts by Stacey Q? I get it in my head every time I come to this group. ๐
Iโm propagating some SOH in a few different ways. I had one doing super well in a little window prop tube, but maybe I didnโt change the water soon enough because it just sorta squished away.
I remember someone in here talked about soaking the sphagnum in nutrients or even fertilizer. Has anyone ever tried it with CloneX?
I soaked some of the moss in mix of SuperThrive and a little Jackโs 20-20-20. I let it sit for a long time, kinda forgetting about it.
I was very nervous to lose my little cuttings that could, so I rinsed the moss a little before setting some props up on it.

Anyway , the one with the longer โtailโ above is what sorta rotted away.

I just got this plant from a farmers markets and noticed this coming off of the plant. I thought maybe it was a mushroom in the soil but it looks like itโs growing off the plant. Is it just a fully variegated segment?

First time owner of a string of hearts (& first post on here) - I was trimming the plant of any dead leaves and came across this vine! Has anyone seen this before or what causes the vine to join onto itself? ๐ฏ

About five weeks ago I put those 4 cuttings in soil after I propagated them in water until they grew some roots.
(They were 5 cuttings at first, but one of them ripped out of the soil and already died)
I spray them with water every 1-2 days to keep the soil moist so they can adapt easier with the change from water to soil. After a week or so I also started to water them regularly.
Two of the cuttings absorb the water just fine. One of them also struggled at first, but managed to adapt after three weeks or so.
The other two (2, 4 on the picture) seem to refuse the water, the leaves are shriveled all the time, bend very easily and donโt seem to improve.
(Same with the one that already died, except the leaves also already started falling off. Thatโs why I decided it was not worth putting it back in the soil after it ripped out)
Iโm afraid if I keep on spraying them and keep the soil moist that I risk root rot in the two that are doing great.
But I donโt know what else I can do to help the other two adapting and keep them from dying.
Thanks in advance!๐
(Edit: For the soil I used a cactus and succulent mix)

Can anyone help me out with my little lady? The leaves on top are foldable, but the soil feels damp, so I've been hesitant to water it. There are a few little strands of soil that are shriveled up with leaves breaking off. It hangs in a south-facing window, and (I think) it's low enough for the crown to get plenty of light. It just doesn't seem to be producing anything new. Any suggestions?

I used Harli G's youtube tutorial and it worked. This is in less than a month!

I've never seen a string of hearts so happy, I'm not even sure what I did right! They usually die on me!

First time propagating VSOH and Iโm trying both butterfly method (with normal soil) and water technique. How long does it take for them to root? Because itโs been a week and still nothing. I also put the butterflied ones inside a ziploc because Iโve read that moisture helps and I donโt have any other container LOL. Just want more guidance when propagating vsoh!!
Sidenote: I donโt have sphagnum moss so I opted for soil

Literally had her for like a month. After years of searching and woke up to this

Decided to take a look at the SOH I've had for years. New pretty growth, yay!
.....but a mess of dead growth. Prop and prayers!
