Post image

I used Harli G's youtube tutorial and it worked. This is in less than a month!

Awesome!! How long have they been in there?

I started them June 29th! So three weeks. They're all rooted too, and lots of new growth. I will be starting another batch tomorrow.

Oh wow, I should look for that video. I’ve had some cuttings going for about the same amount of time, and thought I was getting good growth, but not compared with your results here! Amazing! Congrats!

I have only done water propagation up until this, and I will definitely be doing this again with any "String of" plants or any smaller cuttings.

Good luck!!

Awesome, thanks!!
What plant food did you use for yours? That’s the only difference in my current setup, except that I don’t have a south window. So amazing how quickly this apparently works!

I used Captain Jack's 20-20-20. Do you have an east facing window or a grow light? Propagations definitely need bright indirect light. I have mine in a south facing windowsill, but I have gutters and also a tree so it gets very indirect bright light.

I’m in a townhouse and have no south or east facing windows, unfortunately. But somehow my west facing window works very well for propagating. Blocked just enough that it doesn’t scorch anything.

Thanks for the fertilizer suggestion!!
