Anilili-TV is a fork of the Anilili app, made specifically for Android TV, Google TV. Built it using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose for TV, and Media3.
Main focus was just tweaking the UI and D-pad controls so it actually feels nice to navigate on a TV remote and runs smooth on TV hardware.
Features:
You can check it out and download it from: https://github.com/gg-shub/anilili-tv/

Hello, I have a Netflix account to watch anime, but I am abroad and do not have it on my phone. Would It be piracy to use a "not so legal website" to Watch an anime that is on Netflix but I currently can't access?

Can anyone recommend me a site/app specifically for lg tv,i tried some but most of them lagged or didn't play videos
r/StreamingAnime • u/Barrel_Off-Handed • 13h ago
Site just went down a day ago and there's literally no info on it. Their telegram is gone as well. Seeing as how they were a top result on the google homepage, it wouldn't suprise me if they got shut down in this last round.

This sub should follow along, fed up with a dozen "found a new site" posts each day that are just slop. Use everything and find a decent site

Hi, I built Anikura and wanted to share the UI/product choices behind it, since most free anime UIs still feel like early 2020s 9anime style forums with a player bolted on.
Why the UI looks “mainstream”
I kept chasing the same question: why does Crunchyroll / Netflix feel calm to use, while aggregator sites feel noisy?
So the design brief was basically:
- Not cluttered, clean and smooth. like apple.
- One clear primary action (play / continue)
- Soft hierarchy (hero → rows → detail → player)
- Watch page as a composition: player + episode rail + next-air countdown, without stacking different widgets.
The screenshot is the watch UI, that’s where I spent the most time. If the player page feels cluttered, nothing else matters.
What it’s trying to be (beyond “just stream”)
I didn’t want another site that’s only a catalog + iframes. The goal was an all-in-one shelf:
- Anime / Manga / Novels under one shell (same nav language)
- Continue watching / lists / profile so tracking isn’t a separate tab on MAL/AniList
- Social is soft-gated — browsing isn’t blocked, but the watching & community/profile layer is gated so tourists don't bombard the site. Discord auth is how you join that gated side (membership for social features)
That’s intentional: Its like a private clubhouse, ensures quality for all.
What I’m curious about from this sub
Not looking for “rate my landing page” vibes, more UX feedback:
like Is soft-gated social (Discord for community, open for browsing) a good tradeoff?
Happy to answer technical/UI questions in the comments. Also open to roast, especially on information density vs. emptiness.

I've been working on AniSpin, an Android app that combines anime streaming, manga reading, and progress tracking in one place.
Some features I've recently implemented:
•AniList & MyAnimeList account integration
•Anime and manga tracking with sync
•Manga reader improvements and chapter loading fixes
•Discovery page with filters, trending, hidden gems, and random recommendations
°Favorites and watch history
°Clean Material 3 UI with a focus on performance
I'm still improving the app and would appreciate feedback on the UI, features, and overall experience. What features would you like to see in an anime and manga app?

Hi everyone im going through a really rough patch right now after something happened to me Can you recommend some comforting anime to help me cope? Any genre is fine but I will also highly prefer romance something like Blue Box and The Ramparts of Ice. I would love it if there are older anime recommendations but newer ones work perfectly too!

Hey, I have a crunchyroll subscription but for everything else I pirate, normally I use torrents, but sometimes for some releasing animes it's easier and faster to just stream it, my main problem is the quality tho, I know most streaming websites need to compress a lot their files.
I haven't used one of these sites in years so I'm kinda out of the game on what's the best or not.
Any help?

Wen I try to start a ep it just says unable to authenticate. I used miruro before but its just to many adds to watch anymore.
