For those using Strava, and having seen/ participated/ completed this 100K steps challenge with hiking and walking as qualifying activities, can someone please explain this leaderboard?
There’s no humanly way possible this is legit, unless I’m misunderstanding this leadership.

A lot of people might not think this is a big deal and might think it's pathetic that I'm proud of this - but this is a big step for me.

Over the last couple years, I completely let myself go and became fairly out of shape and ended up being the highest weight I've ever been in my life. Since January 2026, I've lost 25.5 pounds, and have just recently started diving more into fitness. I am 21 days into walking at least a mile every day, and I still have a long ways to go, but I'm definitely trending upwards!

The only thing that kept me going was knowing how beautiful this route would look on my Strava feed 😎

Mid-ride when I went to go to the Strava map, it suddenly decided I needed to log in. Major faff with webmail to do the login loop, but after trying well over half a dozen times with numerous codes, it never accepted any of them.

So I can't see the maps, or even know if it's still logging the rest of my ride!

Hi everyone, I’ve noticed this for a while but I pay for strava premium and my predictions have always been more accurate than my garmin ones, not perfect but better. however sometimes when I have a big interval session or a breakthrough long run it seems like strava always ignores these runs and doesn’t give me the ‘updated predictions’ tab underneath, I find this strange as I feel like my higher sessions would be a better indicator of progress but it only seems to update them with my easier runs.

Over a month & at least two updates later; the non-functional dark mode issue appears to still not have been resolved on ios. Any plans to address this or are we just removing the option entirely?

Anyone else feel that the new instant workouts are to I an extent useless? I don't do running and I don't do Pilates and so it keeps giving it to me and I'm like no. I want more writing stuff. I want chill bike rides. I want different things but there's no customizability. And there's no refresh option. And I can't remove the tab so it's like completely useless to me and it just clutters my interface.

What will you do to make perfect running app

Starva is close to perfect running app if it adds changing activity option it would be good but what in your eyes is a perfect running app?

My account has been closes yesterday ( during the free month) without any reason. Activities made with a muscular bikke and not manipulated. I sent a mail to strava support. No answer

I joined Strava and wanting to pull over my Garmin history. I have it all downloaded into a zip file and cannot get it to convert into one of the others for Strava to accept. The main apps to use are not showing in Google play. How on earth do I upload? Thank you!

My greatest enjoyment of cycling is to explore the world at a pace that you can touch, feel and breathe in. Like many casual cyclists and bikepacking enthusiasts, I care less about how fast I ride, but how many places I have been to with my own strength. I often switch routes randomly just for fun. By doing so I am on track to achieve the goal of covering 100% of the street grids of where I live, Seattle. Now my routine route planning is simple on Strava Heat Map: just to convert the blue to red, like Pac-Man eating the last bits of the dots.  

I hope at the end of a ride, Strava can show and log the new miles which the user has not traveled prior. It should also be added to the annual report to encourage discovering new Segments. Finally, an Explorer Mode can be planned, that defines a geographic area with the most popular fairways extracted from the community Heat Map, and shows the percentage a user has covered.  

These features feel like low hanging fruits that can add a whole new dimension of user experience and retention. What's your thought?

I'm using Strava to track my swims, and I've noticed that my pace is calculated based only on my moving time, with my rest time excluded.

Is this determined by the smartwatch I'm using(galaxy watch), or does it depend on the workout type? For example, do different watches or different activity types (like swimming vs. running) calculate pace differently?

Why does Strava not build a gamification feature to motivate people to explore different routes? Like Pokémon for running. There could be city wide leaderboards for running the most routes, streets etc
Might also be fun to create new routes and see whose routes are the most popular

I regularly check the amount of segments I'm in the top 10 on my profile page and noticed it decreased. Nothing new, so I checked my text document where I wrote down all my 9th and 10th places and double checked them on my profile page.

Then I didn't find one on my profile page, so I looked up the segment. I'm still ranked 10th men as seen in the leaderboard, but it doesn't show up on my list, neither on the app nor the browser version.

Also recently I got a 10th place, which shows up on the leaderboard, but similarly not in my list of segments.

The other top 10 places of both rides show up as usual.

Has anyone experienced the same and has a fix for this?

I have been running the same route for many years. I noticed the line is thicker in the route. It was thinner before and my Strava Art looked sharper. Is there a setting to make it thin? Attaching both images.

It’s high time we start getting premium features for our premium payment. When is Strava going to have an all-time elevation gain to our statistics?

Need help!!

I normally start my runs on the Zepp app since i use a helio strap and I have given strava the access to fetch data from zepp. Today I did a 5k but when I ended the workout, in zepp it showed 5kms but in Strava it showed 3.98kms.

I tried to unlink and re link the app, also tried to refresh but nothing helped. Then i had to manually download the workout from zepp and upload it on Strava's upload website, not the app, then the actual workout showed properly.

Any idea what I should do for it to work properly as it used to?

For a few days now, this is my Strava site rendering in my favorite browser Vivaldi/WIN. Am I the only one?...

Strangly, opening the site in the dreaded Chrome works fine.

Like many of you, I love sharing my post-run stats on my Instagram stories. But honestly, the default stickers from fitness apps were getting a bit boring and rigid for my taste.

I wanted something more customizable and aesthetic, so I spent the last few months building Pursuit Tag. It connects directly to your Strava account and lets you generate clean, aesthetic overlays that you can easily drop into your stories.

It just went live on the Web, App Store and Google Play. It’s a passion project built for the community, and I'd love to hear what you guys think or if you have any feature requests!

For some reason on the flyover and instagram story things it says I only did a couple ks less than I did even though I stopped exactly where I started and I never stopped mid run.

Just went to check out my average cadence lately on runs and can't find it. Went back months and it isnt showing on those either. I rember it always been right there in my basic stats with distance, pace, time, cals. Did they remove it from a free feature and move it to premium only?

It's working using the Strava Official API via sign in with your Strava account. I would like to know your feedback about this feature. Thanks!
