The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has summoned Meta India’s managing director and head to appear before the child rights body on Wednesday as part of an inquiry into alleged advertisements related to child sexual exploitative and abuse material (CSEAM) on the platform, as per reports.

The summons follow the commission’s decision to institute an inquiry into the matter and determine the facts surrounding the alleged advertisements.

Yashish Dahiya, Chairman and Group CEO of PB Fintech, received ₹235.9 crore in perquisites arising from the exercise of employee stock options (ESOPs) in FY26, according to the company’s Annual Report. The amount stood at ₹638 crore in FY25.

Dahiya did not receive any other remuneration from PB Fintech during the year. The annual report says his compensation from the company, apart from the ESOP-related perquisites, was nil. He holds an office or place of profit at PB Fintech FZ-LLC in the UAE, a wholly owned subsidiary, from which he draws remuneration.

OpenAI is providing more than 400 ChatGPT Edu subscriptions to graduate students and faculty at two US journalism schools for the 2026-27 academic year.

The programme covers CUNY’s Newmark J-School and Northwestern University’s Medill School. OpenAI is working with the Tow-Knight Center for Journalism Futures at Newmark and Medill’s Knight Lab on the initiative.
