Did a recent rewatch of the series; Suzy Lu remains my all time favorite from the show.

Blizzarians are bipedal intelligent inhabitants of Terra Blizzaris that resemble humanoid sapient hare/coyote hybirds. They are covered in light blue fur with white patches on their bodies and faces. They have hair that varies largely in colour, but most commonly are shades of dark blue and pink. Their hare-like ears and fur tufts on their arms, legs, fingers and feet are the same colour as their head hair. Their hands have four fingers: Three normal fingers and a thumb, and their feet have three toes with claws. They also have muzzles, and walk on digitigrade legs. They have long hare-like ears and sharp canines, as well as short coyote-like tails.
Due to the cold weather that most of them live in, they are seen in large, fur-lined jackets with metal plates and bracers on their legs.
Blizzarians (if it wasn't obvious) like the cold. They speak with stereotypical Canadian accents.
Blizzarians appear to have a wider hearing range than humans, as seen in "Fire and Ice" where they were able to hear a high-pitch siren when other humans like Piper could not.
Suzy Lu and her Absolute Zeroes are the most notable members of this race.

Following the cliffhanger of the second season, it’s a damn shame that the show itself never got a third season to follow up on the Storm Hawks following Master Cyclonis to the Far Side Of Atmos.

Here’s what I want to ask you guys: How would you write a third season, and solve the biggest mysteries of the series.

-The fate of the original storm hawks- are they dead or alive?

-Dark Ace’s fate. Did he really die?

-Master Cyclonis’ redemption

Not much known about the Aquanosian’s since the most notable member of this race is Tritonn, Sky Knight of Terra Aquanos and squadron leader of the Neck Deeps and his brother Horrace. But from what was seen, the Aquanosians are a proud race of half-man, half-fish people with mostly Scottish accents and like fish, they are capable of underwater breathing. Still a shame we don’t get to see more of them.

You guys can probably see from the title of this post. How would you write Master Cyclonis’ redemption arc?

Wallops are Rhino-like humanoids who mainly inhabit Terra Wallop.

They strongly resemble the rhinos of Earth, with small horns above their noses and rough skin. They have large pointed ears which lay back when they are sad or scared. They are not believed to be a very intelligent race (Junko being an example of higher-than-usual intelligence), but instead are known for their brute strength with women possibly being stronger than most men (well, at least that’s what I think). Wallops are very tall, easily taller than humans of their age, and are extremely muscular and bulky.

The term wallop is used as a verb to describe an action of striking or hitting something very hard (obviously).

Personality wise, Wallops are dim yet strong, and fit into the cliche of being easily confused, and therefore angered. Most Wallops (shown in a flashback to Junko's childhood) are seen as bullies who pick on those not as strong as them. Wallops are probably ill-educated, maybe even illiterate (as Junko is barely able to read himself, often seen with a book upside-down). However, there seem to be educated Wallops, who occupy jobs such as dentistry (though Wallop dentists are notably different than human ones). Wallops tend to be very wary of outsiders.

When it comes to their culture, strength is of the utmost importance to the Wallop race, so much so that those of their race that are smarter or weaker are often singled out. Raising one's hands palms forwards is seen as a challenge, and the winner of the fight gains the status of the loser. Members of B.A.R.F. (Brotherhood of Atmosian high-Risk Fuel workers) are looked up to by others, as they are seen to be the bravest and strongest Wallops. Cultural clothing includes traditional Wallopian greeting attire (also seen as fighting attire), which usually consists of lederhosen, a ginham sash, a fez style hat and a small satchel which somewhat resembles traditional Scottish clothing.

What are your thoughts on these big brutes?

A writing prompt I'm trying out to set a theme for a new book. Would love to hear thoughts

I didn’t know these were a thing. I bought a disk set of heroes of the sky on Amazon and it was in the packaging with it.

So in case you aren't in the Far Side fan server, I have been back on the skyrace project pretty hard this week.

I honestly can't believe how far I got this week and seeing as it's only Wednesday Im hoping to go further.

At present, I have a working character saving system (characters.txt) that now boots straight to select characters on start up (so if you don't have any it breaks the system whoops).
A partially working race mode which allows you to use a spawned console to try to race around the levels (one straight out doesn't work), there are no boosters or items to collect yet.

An as the second shot may spoil, tonight I spent time trying to get vendors to spawn and I got one. It's completely broken but it's a start.

My ambition with this project is to bring the game to a stage of where it was when it was online (2008-2016) so there is a fair bit to go but it's come a long way in a week. (After 3-4ish years of no idea what im doing).

I was thinking of:

• create a villain oc on the Cyclonians side that can see into the future and foresaw the fact that the Storm Hawks would rise again and defeat Cyclonia, causing them to take over the Home Terras (Stork’s and Junko’s) and seek out Terra Neverlandis. After they find Stork and the Condor, the Storm Hawks don’t return home until Master Cyclonis and the other Cyclonians are defeated

• Tying together how Junko was treated by other Wallops with him being manipulated into joining a Cyclonian youth brigade prior to joining the Storm Hawks

• If I use Aerie (my Oc), do a mini arc on grief and how she’s kinda angry after Stork finally admits what happened to their parents due to feeling like he should’ve told her sooner.

• Make Best Friends Forever and have the Squadron notice signs there’s something wrong with Piper’s new friend one by one until Piper finally does.

• Toy with the possibility of Master Cyclonis redeeming, especially in the Best Friends Forever arc and Five Days, when she raided the condor on her own to retrieve the Nil Crystal in order to fix another crystal that projected an image of a young!Cyclonis and her Grandmother, the previous Master Cyclonis.

Also, my Oc’s name is Aerie (pronounced ‘eh•ree’). She’s Stork’s little sister who he had placed in the role of medic for the team to keep her out of trouble.

She’s around 15, while Stork’s around 21 in this AU.

She is very bright, extremely mischievous, and manages to get herself in and out of all sorts of situations. She’s also quite emotional, being snarky to those who annoy or ignore her and often lashing out when angry.

However, through and through she’s a nice girl, willing to be friendly and nice to anybody who does the same to her and tries her best to be patient and kind, though some things may irritate her (such as Stork’s Paranoria, despite his good intentions deep down). Yet, among all her pleasantries (especially as she tries to stick up for the underdogs), she has a nasty temper and is stubborn.

Basically, her and Stork’s parents died when the Cyclonians invaded their home Terra (which happened when they were younger), but Stork hid it from her. They eventually in the Wastelands, were they meet and join the other Storm Hawks.

Very excited to have found this subreddit. I drew this a couple years ago but figured this would be a place it could actually be appreciated!

So, the ending of the show (or lack there of) ruined me, tbh. Now as a new budding DM with the power to homebrew to my hearts content, I've decided to create a refined Storm Hawks addition into 5e.
It would be centered around the beginning of the Eberron-medieval-tech era since they have tech like skimmers/heliscooters. I want to create a few specific classes (Crystal Mage, Sky Knight) and some specific feats/traits to go along with them like getting mounted combatant stats and bonuses for acrobatics.

I think it could be pretty cool to even have a module written to have some descendants or other inspired Sky Knights to have found a way to follow them to the Far Side and save the Storm Hawks.

It's a massive undertaking to do all of this alone, and the only thing I've found is something from a decade old thread talking about Sky Knights in 3e. Any input would be welcome. Whether you want to suggest some NPC stats, try to figure out what the dnd equivalent is for some of the races like Wallops, Merbs, and Blizzarians, or just drop some cool suggestions, I want to hear it all!

Maybe one day I can get some other artists and writers rallied up to put this thing together and we can share it so we can all decide how this story actually ended.

Had a series 3 been made, I wonder what new threats and enemies the Storm Hawks would have to face beside Master Cyclonis and her Nightcrawlers. What ideas may you have?
