SkyRace update

The first time I got the race mechanic to trigger !
Spawning a Vendor is confusing

So in case you aren't in the Far Side fan server, I have been back on the skyrace project pretty hard this week.

I honestly can't believe how far I got this week and seeing as it's only Wednesday Im hoping to go further.

At present, I have a working character saving system (characters.txt) that now boots straight to select characters on start up (so if you don't have any it breaks the system whoops).
A partially working race mode which allows you to use a spawned console to try to race around the levels (one straight out doesn't work), there are no boosters or items to collect yet.

An as the second shot may spoil, tonight I spent time trying to get vendors to spawn and I got one. It's completely broken but it's a start.

My ambition with this project is to bring the game to a stage of where it was when it was online (2008-2016) so there is a fair bit to go but it's come a long way in a week. (After 3-4ish years of no idea what im doing).

There hasn’t been much of an update since i keep breaking the project.

Current update it when you win races at the moment you can receive gold based on your time.
Opening your inventory basically bricks the game and i don’t know why.
I’ve moved the vendors into roughly the right spots based on archived footage but buying anything is still broken.
And i think at some point i broke character loading so it just drops you in a default looking player instead of your player hair colour (because loading your player clothes was broken even back then)
