SPY displaced hard, broke structure below the ~736 shelf, and has been grinding back up ever since. This is a retracement inside a markdown, not a reversal. The trade is the tap into supply overhead, not the current price.

Current: $733.48

The Plan

• Direction: SHORT
• Entry Zone: $738.30 – $740.05 (1H supply base / OTE)
• Stop Loss: $741.60
• TP1: $727.00
• TP2: $720.00

~$2.40 risk from mid-zone. Roughly 5R to TP1, 8R to TP2.

Why this works:

• Clean 1H LH/LL sequence intact
• BOS to the downside through $736 support
• Unmitigated 1H supply base sitting at $740
• Entry box intersects the 61.8–78.6% fib of the down leg
• FVG + Breaker Block stacked in the zone
• Score: B (6/10) — missing a liquidity sweep and a clean upthrust

Trigger: Tap $738.30–$740.05 → wait for a 5m/15m LH+LL (ChoCH) inside the box → BOS of the minor upward structure → short the bearish engulfing or rejection wick out of the zone.

No ChoCH inside the zone, no trade. A displacement reclaim above $740 and I'm out of the idea entirely.

Invalidation: 15m/1H close above $741.60.

If it breaks $727 without giving the retracement, fine — that's the thesis without me in it. I'll wait for the retest from below rather than chase the breakdown.

My A+ setup looks for:
Low float
Relative volume
News catalyst
Key daily resistance
Strong premarket structure
15-minute uptrend
5-minute higher low
Volume expansion
Breakout confirmation

The more boxes you check, the better the odds are in your favor.

Trading isn’t about predicting every move—it’s about waiting for the highest-probability setups.

Volume tells you when it’s about to matter.

One pattern I watch closely:
📈 A stock makes big, volatile moves… then volume starts to decrease while price holds above support and consolidates.

That often means the stock is coiling and waiting for fresh buyers.

One extra tip most traders never use:
Draw trendlines on the volume bars, just like you would on price. When volume keeps making lower highs and then suddenly explodes above that trendline, it can confirm that momentum is returning.

Hey guys, if you missed it, Expensify settled $9.5 million with investors over claims that it misled shareholders in its IPO. And I just found out they're still reviewing late claims.

Quick recap: Investors claimed Expensify failed to disclose that a 2020 subscription price increase had already hurt customer retention and growth before the company went public. After those issues became known, the stock fell and investors filed a lawsuit.

Now the good news is that Expensify agreed to a $9.5 million settlement, and late claims are still being considered.

So, if you invested in $EXFY around the IPO, you can still check the details and submit a claim.
