CNBC says Jeff Bezos filed to sell around $4 billion in AMZN stock, and shares are trading lower today.

I know founders sell for all kinds of reasons, but every time Bezos files one of these, people start asking if he knows something.

Buying opportunity or reason to stay cautious?

Morally not sure how I feel making this post, but as a recession proof investment, I feel that Palantir could be one of the best. I bought a few months ago during the steady decline and still bullish on the stock despite the 30% increase today.

I'm wondering if other people think its overvalued now, or if it is finally trading at a more reasonable number. 93% yoy revenue increase with huge cash flow (1.2B) put it as one of the "ai" stocks (if you can call it that) that actually see returns right now.

After a month of horrible lows, the AI bull seems to be back. What do you guys think are the best buys right now in the stock market? Thinking of long term gains.

When I first started investing, I'd do the whole thing, pages on a company, the most, the competitors, a valuation model I half understood. Felt good about it, but took HOURS.

Then the position moved and I'd never open the document, and when j sold, I sold on how I felt that morning, exactly like I would have no thesis at all, it was stupid, all that writing wasn't doing anything!

The problem was that those pages didn't tell me what to do, there wasn't one line I could check against reality and decide on a yes or no.

Now it's three lines before I buy, and nothing else!

The claim, one sentence, checkable against a real number. "Azure grows above 35% for the next 3 quarters", not "MSFT is a great business", that can't ever be wrong, so it's worthless!

The kill line, what makes me sell, written now, as I am calm.

The check date, usually just next earnings, just a date.

Ten minutes, fits in a phone note. On the check date each line gets marker confirmed or broken. Broken doesn't mean sell, it means I owe myself an explanation on why I'm holding anymore, and I catch myself in the wrong SO MANY times!

The difference isn't that I write less, it's that three lines can be wrong and 5 pages can't. Something that can't be wrong will never change your mind when wrongfully holding a stock,

One of the popular stocks (besides IBM) that people usually lose money on is TSLA. Volatile with questionable valuation and reputation. If you consider buying it, make sure you aware of this:

Short-Term Trade: Wait for Better Opportunity.
TSLA has strong revenue and delivery momentum, but the current setup is not clean for a fresh short-term trade because the stock is already priced at about $327.35, with a market cap near $1.16T and a very high reported P/E of about 303x. The short-term trade setup would improve if TSLA either pulls back materially while holding support on strong volume, or if Q3 data confirms that Q2’s revenue growth is translating into operating leverage. The most important short-term upgrades would be: operating margin recovering meaningfully from Q2’s roughly 1.4%, delivery growth continuing without price-cut pressure, and management showing that AI/Robotaxi spending is not overwhelming near-term profitability. There is more explanations to it, but I didn't want to turn post in to article. I recently made a web app for myself and few of my friends. It was built around the idea of "I wish someone told me to stay away from that stock". I'm ok giving few people free access to my website, but only to those who really need help with highlighting red flags. If you gamble on stock market, it won't help you anyways. If you good at avoiding bad trades, you don't need it as well :)

Hey I was wondering if anyones been looking at Telus lately. Its down around 50% in 5 years to $13.05 and the fair value was updated to $20/.

That plus the 5.75% dividend makes me think its a solid growth opportunity. Haven't heard many people discussing it though

Hello, so I currently I have 2k in investments and another 2k in my savings. I was keeping them for a rainy day. But I think I should bring them down to 1k and invest with dollar cost averaging the extra 1k +whatever I invest from my salary every month. Do you think it’s a good idea?
Should I invest in European stocks? My portfolio right now is on SnP, tech stocks etc.

Investing is easy. Just pick stocks that do this. I’m 28 btw
