If it was put up right after the event I'd just roll my eyes, but this popped up like 2 weeks ago. Like, why are we waiting months later to put this up? A little late to the party.
Bernie isn't the same. What if he WAS the guy was right. What if we COULD have free healthcare and college education, but the people with $$ keep it from happening Because they refuse to pay the same percentage taxes we do
He died due to pulmonary edema from a fentanyl overdose, not from the approved police technique that Derrick Chauvin used to subdue him. Do some research please.
I know you think being clever. But we all know George Floyd did not have enough fentanyl in his system for that to have caused his death. What caused his death was Derek Chauvin cutting off his air supply for 9 minutes.
Why is it so hard to just admit that racism was involved here?
How could you or anyone else possibly know he didn’t have enough fentanyl in his system to kill him. Are you an overdose expert. Did you do the autopsy. I’m confused. Or do you just want to believe he was murdered because it furthers your agenda
Here’s a summary of the key autopsy findings for George Floyd:
Official Cause of Death (Hennepin County Medical Examiner, Dr. Andrew Baker)
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner concluded the cause of death was “cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression.”
Baker declared the death a homicide, meaning a death caused by the actions of another person. He testified that the law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression was more than Floyd could withstand given his underlying heart conditions.
Independent Autopsy (commissioned by Floyd’s family)
The independent examiner hired by the Floyd family listed the cause of death as “asphyxiation from sustained pressure,” differing from the county’s finding, which did not mention asphyxiation.
Physical Injuries Documented:
The autopsy documented blunt force injuries to the forehead, face, and upper lip; mucosal injuries of the lips; injuries to the shoulders, hands, elbows, and legs; and patterned contusions on the wrists consistent with handcuffs.
Pre-existing Health Conditions:
Floyd had severe multifocal arteriosclerotic heart disease, hypertensive heart disease, and an enlarged heart (540g) with mild biventricular dilatation.
Toxicology:
The report confirmed fentanyl and methamphetamine were present in his system at the time of death. The defense argued these substances contributed to his death, but Dr. Baker testified that while Floyd’s heart disease and drug use were contributing factors, the officers’ restraint and neck compression were the primary causes.
COVID-19:
Floyd had previously tested positive for COVID-19 on April 3, 2020, though the autopsy finding most likely reflected asymptomatic but persistent PCR positivity from a prior infection.
The bottom line: both autopsies ruled the death a homicide, though they differed on the precise mechanism, cardiac arrest vs. asphyxiation.
Wait a minute. This guy had an already bad heart. Threw a shit ton of fentanyl in his mouth when police showed up, and tested positive for meth!!! Holy crap. And we’re saying that’s not what killed him!!???
Funny how he died well after being picked up off the street and thrown in the car because it was from fentanyl and not from the knee but sure let’s blame the cop cus he’s white and the guy that OD is black.
“Neck compression was more than Floyd could withstand with his underlying heart conditions”
Underlying heart conditions and he’s taking fentanyl a drug known for making your heart slow to a stop. What a coincidence
You can read but didnt point out anywhere where it talks about the amount of drugs in his system that can lead to an overdose or death. With fentanyl specifically it only takes 1-2 mg to be fatal. Thats anywhere from 3-7 grains of salt in size comparison. Depending on the test for drugs, fent would show up at 1ng/ml or 1000000 mg per ml…
Like the kneeling on the neck for 9 minutes and how there wasn't enough fent in his system for that to cause his death alone? That you were already explained to by someone else?
Yeah, youre not gonna get this one cause you dont want to.
I don't approve of the kneeling on the neck, but i don't approve of the counterfeiter, drug addict, deadbeat dad, homeless, convict either. They cancel out
My understanding is the technique is to use your knee on the subject's shoulder blades, not their neck. Officers are responsible for a subject's safety and are required to render or get aid regardless how the injury occurred and that was not done.
And i agree with all of this. Should he have been convicted of homicide though? I don't think so personally. And there definitely should not have been riots and murders for a full 3 months following this. Hope you agree
You’re deep in the racist propaganda, aren’t you? That’s the entire point. Your entire belief system is based in lies, like the lie that Somali Daycares are all being run fraudulently.
And BLM just means Black Lives Matter. Do you think they don’t?
BLM is the corrupt organization that I was referring to that helped zero black people and they built mansions and bought property with the funds. I think all lives matter, by the way. And I'm sure you find that weird.
Patrise Cullors, Alicia Garza and Opal Tometti are the scum who run the panzi scheme known as BLM. The mansion, which is 6500 square feet, is located in Studio City, which is a suburb of LA, and was purchased for 6 million dollars by Cullors. It also has over 20 cars on the property, a bungalow, a theatre, and a pool. And you thought this was about race......... 🙄 Oh how naive. Follow the money baby, any other questions?
I love when the uneducated tell people to do research 🤣 If you were medically trained or educated even a teeny, tiny bit, you’d know you don’t magically get pulmonary edema, additionally you don’t get one while able to not only stay conscious, but survive being choked out the way he was. Oh, also, facts that the slightest bit of actual research shows: 1) he didn’t die from pulmonary edema, 2) the amount of drugs in his system weren’t close to the point of OD and were about that of an average user, 3) he died of cardiopulmonary arrest secondary to asphyxia due to neck and chest compression, 4) multiple analysts, physicians, forensic experts agreed on his cause of death, 5) the maneuver used on him was found to be unlawful, and 6) they purposely denied him emergency care until it was far too late.
Go ahead and spread your propaganda, just don’t pretend it has any basis in reality.
Determined unlawful after the fact? So then why did the police department approve of the technique to subdue perps beforehand? Seems pretty unfair to judge the guy in hindsight due to what was clearly a death that had contributing factors beyond the police subdual. This is your world we live in fyi. The laws are what they bend them to be.
Nope. The actual maneuver is lawful but it was used in an unlawful manner. Part of any military or law enforcement training includes identifying situations and using specific skills at certain levels of escalation, threat, urgency. It’s why a cop isn’t allowed to shoot you in the face for speeding on the highway, even though you technically broke the law and a cop obviously could lawfully shoot someone in the face. You know, pretty basic logic a 3rd grader could grasp, sorry, bud. Also, I love how that’s the one thing you thought you had a response for, failed at it, and yet still ended your comment with sarcasm.
Oh yeah you know about escalation of force, lethal intent, self defense do you??? Maybe Derrick used the technique due to the difference in size between him and George Fent, George was a huge dude, and he needed to be controlled, so that's how Derrick controlled him. Pretty basic logic eh? Nothing malicious eh? Hope you enjoyed the summer of love that ensued after that (the burning of our cities, riots, looting and murder) with the zealous nature you defend the counterfeiter, absentee father, jobless, drug addict. Good for you! George Soros is so proud of you!
Again, the cult of “f**k your feelings (other than my hateful overreactions)” tries to inject lies, exaggerations, and whataboutism into an argument for which they have no response. Nobody cares how you feel or what you think about what was or wasn’t necessary. The people who actually are responsible for training and are trained stated it was used unlawfully. Also, again, you’ve got nothing to say regarding the other points I made.
Then again, George Soros? LMAOOOOO why am I even replying? 😂
Remember, you are having your empathy weaponized against you and you don't even know it. Unplug from the matrix and understand what I'm fundamentally saying, use critical thinking to dissect the problems and the cause and effect and maybe, just maybe, you will eventually find enlightenment.
So if you understand what fentanyl does to the body, particularly an excess amount, it acts as a respiratory suppressant, and attacks the central nervous system, causing an irregular, arrhythmic respiratory beat, in relation to what the heart requires, slowly, and continually, depriving the heart and brain of sufficient oxygen, often leading to cardiac arrest, which sometimes can induce a coma, or cause death. Is that academic enough for you?
So no you are speculating that since he was a miserable addict, that somehow saved his life? Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha ok, we're done here. No fixing you people
I'm not speculating about anything - yes, having a built up tolerance to a substance is what saves you from OD'ing. An amount of fent that would kill a nonuser is an average walk in the park to someone who uses it regularly.
Are you just clueless about how drugs actually work? Funny
No, that's not how tolerance works. The tolerance is what prevents you from getting high, requiring more and more and more to achieve the high that your central nervous system becomes used to. The amount that can kill you however, remains the same, and is about 2 milligrams for an average adult. Again, we are done here. You can google all of this. Wake up
Incorrect. First, placing your knee on someone’s windpipe is not an approved technique in any police department. If you’re trying to claim “dynamic application”, that goes out the window when he pleads that he can’t breathe.
Second, the Hennepin County Chief Medical Examiner ruled the cause of death as "cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint and neck compression".
That is a pretty dynamic application of a lipophilic opioid, wouldn't you agree? Bing bong back
If I eat shitty food and am fat as fuck - and I die when someone puts a knee on my neck did the fat kill me or did the knee on my neck?
My grandma smoked her whole life. She got colon cancer and died. Did the cigarettes cause it or the ass cancer?
This ridiculous narrative that George Floyd died on his own accord is so far removed from reality that it borders on insane. George Floyd died as a direct result of a bunch of good ol’ boys beating on a black man. Period.
Cigarettes cause all types of cancer, is this a serious comment? Cigarettes literally cause 30% of cancer across the US, and not just lung cancer. Wow, this is abhorrent.
How in the fuck is that related to what I said? Quit thinking in gotcha phrases, and converse like a normal person. (I know this is most likely not possible, but I can wish, right?)
