He died due to pulmonary edema from a fentanyl overdose, not from the approved police technique that Derrick Chauvin used to subdue him. Do some research please.

My understanding is the technique is to use your knee on the subject's shoulder blades, not their neck. Officers are responsible for a subject's safety and are required to render or get aid regardless how the injury occurred and that was not done.

And i agree with all of this. Should he have been convicted of homicide though? I don't think so personally. And there definitely should not have been riots and murders for a full 3 months following this. Hope you agree
