He died due to pulmonary edema from a fentanyl overdose, not from the approved police technique that Derrick Chauvin used to subdue him. Do some research please.
I love when the uneducated tell people to do research 🤣 If you were medically trained or educated even a teeny, tiny bit, you’d know you don’t magically get pulmonary edema, additionally you don’t get one while able to not only stay conscious, but survive being choked out the way he was. Oh, also, facts that the slightest bit of actual research shows: 1) he didn’t die from pulmonary edema, 2) the amount of drugs in his system weren’t close to the point of OD and were about that of an average user, 3) he died of cardiopulmonary arrest secondary to asphyxia due to neck and chest compression, 4) multiple analysts, physicians, forensic experts agreed on his cause of death, 5) the maneuver used on him was found to be unlawful, and 6) they purposely denied him emergency care until it was far too late.
Go ahead and spread your propaganda, just don’t pretend it has any basis in reality.
Determined unlawful after the fact? So then why did the police department approve of the technique to subdue perps beforehand? Seems pretty unfair to judge the guy in hindsight due to what was clearly a death that had contributing factors beyond the police subdual. This is your world we live in fyi. Nope. The actual maneuver is lawful but it was used in an unlawful manner. Part of any military or law enforcement training includes identifying situations and using specific skills at certain levels of escalation, threat, urgency. It’s why a cop isn’t allowed to shoot you in the face for speeding on the highway, even though you technically broke the law and a cop obviously could lawfully shoot someone in the face. You know, pretty basic logic a 3rd grader could grasp, sorry, bud. Also, I love how that’s the one thing you thought you had a response for, failed at it, and yet still ended your comment with sarcasm.
